The Mainstays 5QT Dutch Oven is an amazing cooking tool, the packing came really nice and neatly packed, the hardware is very sturdy, the design is built with handles for easy use & it's super easy to cook food in it, the food heats up pretty fast and it's very easy to clean off after with your hands or the dishwasher! Over all this is a great product and I would definitely recommend 10/10!

I love this 5qt pot, you can feel the durability of it. It had a think bottom which helps maintain temperature. The lid is clear so you can easily see what you're cooking. I like that the handles don't get too hot and I can still hold from them. I'm very happy with it

Great Pot!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We really enjoy our Mainstays Dutch ovens. We have two different styles and they work equally well. They work with our induction oven and distribute the heat very evenly. They are very well made and are quite heavy.

Stainless Steel is the way to go!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The design of this Dutch oven is really easy to handle. Whether I'm using oven mitts or my hands I'm able to grip both the handles as well as the lid without any trouble. 
I was able to make a variety of dishes with almost no adjustments to my usual way with the exception of one thing; the bottom of this Dutch oven seems to be a bit on the thinner side, so I found that I had to reduce my cooking temperature by a noticeable amount on any dish I prepared on the stove. This isn't by any means a reason I wouldn't recommend this item, just the opposite. It's affordable and really functional for someone looking for a dutch oven, it's just an important thing to keep in mind.
I really appreciated how well the lid fit and kept in heat. It's very efficient and was great for steaming and keeping things warm even once off the stove or out of the oven. The steam escape vent lets out just enough to avoid any mishaps.
I've been using this Dutch oven as much as I can over the last several weeks and it looks as good as the day I received it for review. I don't know if the thinness of the base will affect its longevity long term, or it would have been a 5 star item for me. So far, it hasn't warped or shown a single sign of wear. Overall, definitely a product I recommend for anyone who wanted to get a Dutch oven.

A very good Dutch oven for those looking to get on

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This Dutch oven is okay for the price. The size is great for soups and stews, and it looks nice in the kitchen. However, the heat distribution isn't the best and food can stick if you're not careful. It works, but it doesn't feel very durable. Good for basic cooking, but I wouldn't rely on it for heavy or frequent use.

Gets sticky fast

I bought it first time and the handle on the glass lead just broke within 2 months it was loose and one side of it came out so I returned it and then I bought it for the second time and after that one side of the vessel just torn up due to heat or something it was just like a paper it was torn up

The first thing I bought from Walmart I bought it for two times and for two times it just broke from some parts
