Amazing bowl it's very big unfortunately cuz I didn't realize the size but it's so heavy and it's going to very nice rubber non-skid bottom

Excellent product

This bowl is very handy for big batch/meal prep times. From baking big batches of cookies, to marinating lots of food this is a great big size. As a family of 2, this is not everyday use, but for these particular times when I do big batch cooking for freezer meal prep, or large gatherings this is perfect, and me being clumsy the non-slip bottom has saved me a few times already.

It was worth the time I spent choosing this. The bowl is large and deep, perfect for kneading dough or marinating meat—just fantastic. It's made of stainless steel, and what's thoughtful is that the bottom is wrapped in rubber, so I don't have to worry about leaving marks on my kitchen counter while working. Walmart is really great, and the home delivery was fast too.

Essential for the kitchen

"I'm impressed with the Mainstays Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl with Non-Skid Bottom! The 8QT size is generous and perfect for large mixing tasks, like kneading dough. I've had no issues with it being too small or too heavy to handle. the non-skid bottom, which provides stability and prevents the bowl from slipping or sliding around while I'm mixing. And, if I accidentally knock it over (which has happened!), the stainless steel material and non-skid bottom combine to minimize the noise and prevent it from making a loud .

Reduce Noise.

I've had other stainless steel bowls from other manufactures and the first thing I noticed that this was very light, but strong! I tested this bowl with making homemade burgers using 3kg of meat, spices and breadcrumbs. The rubber non skid bottom came into play while I was mixing the ingredients with my hand and not having to worry about the bowl sliding around. It was very easy to clean is a kitchen accessory I would highly recommend. I wish they had covers so I could use it to marinate overnight.

Light but strong! Highly recommend!

I got this Mainstays Stainless steel Mixing bowl 8 QT and have been using it for a while. I have to say it comes very handy in the kitchen and its a necessity in an active kitchen. Overall Im very happy with the product, the quality is good, the shipping was fast and I highly recommand this product.

Great mixing bowl

I knew this stainless steel bowl was 8QT but wasn't expecting it to be so big in person. This isn't a standard size bowl for daily use, however I find that the size is perfect for baking and even marinating meat. Another bonus is the bottom of the bowl is silicone and no more slipping around the countertop. This bowl will come in handy during the summer time when I harvest the vegetables from the garden. Bowl has a nice weight as well.

Very big bowl

This is really a big bowl, large and deep, perfect for mixing up big batches of bread or dough or whatever it is you're cooking! I do a lot of baking so this comes in very handy, the non-slip bottom is great, this bowl will not slip away from you while you're trying to mix or whisk things!

Big and non-slip

This mixing bowl isn't something that I use on a daily basis as I have small family with small kids but it's definitely a must have in the house. I love the depth of this bowl and the size makes it perfect for marinating meat or making a big batch when you have company over. Great to use for mixing and baking as the depth helps to reduce spills and splatter mess. It's a plus that it has a non skid base is a sturdy bowl.
