Shower curtain is opaque, but still lets in some light, which is helpful in the bathroom it's in because there are no windows in the room.  The white seashell print is pretty and is just enough to dress it up a bit.  We've been using a clear shower curtain for a long time, but wanted to give this a try.  The shower curtain is longer at 72", like the old clear shower curtains used to be before manufacturers decided they could skimp on the dimensions and still charge the same price.  The holes for holding it on the rod do not have grommets, so don't know how long it will hold up, but I'm ok with that because I felt the price of $12 was pretty good so I bought an extra curtain.

I was worried that it was going to be see through but it impressed me!

It does a great job of keeping the water in the tub and it dries fairly quick after using. So far no musty sell that you can sometimes get over time.

Installation was simple and worked with standard hooks.

Overall, it's a reliable shower curtain liner that does exactly what it's suppose to do!

Thick, durable, and actually does its job—no leaks

I LOVE THIS SHOWER CURTAIN! It is just EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted WHITE but I also wanted the ability to see through the curtain to the room. I love the cleanliness of white - the SHELL DESIGN IS VERY NICE! I have white shower tiles, white tub, white sink and subway white tile around the room. For drama, I have another white curtain in front of it that's permanently draped to the side. So, this fits in perfectly.  With Walmart's shipping pass, I had it two days AFTER I ordered. I LOVE IT and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS SEARCHING FOR!

Never been a big fan a plastic or vinyl shower curtains, but this one is nice. Especially if you have a beach theme. The best thing about this shower curtain....no funky smell or fumes like the old types.

We are using as a shower curtain in the master bath.  Pretty much clear with a little patter.  A little light weight and the holes for hanging aren't reenforced but over all works fine.  Goes great with the Holographic bath mat.

Loved the shower curtain. It went great with our sea shell wallpaper. It was a little short, so we lowered the rod. Wished I could have purchased the same shower curtain in different colors. Great curtain for the price.

They call it reflective clear but it's more of a prismatic effect. I noticed that the effect looked a little stronger before I unfolded it all the way. If you really like the effect I would suggest using two curtains to maximize it.

It does not have magnets at the bottom to help it stay flat against the inside of the tub. If you want something thick and sturdy this isn't the one for you.

The shower curtain in the advertisement picture looks much longer than the actual, but for the money, it's what it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mainstays Shower Curtain while extremely pretty is way too thin to be an actual shower curtain. It's beyond lightweight; more like featherweight. As I started to unfold it I noticed how pretty the geometric design is. It's a clear and iridescent geometric pattern which is very pretty. But pretty doesn't keep the shower water from going outside tge shower or tub. This shower curtain is so lightweight that a shower running at full blast will make it almost impossible to keep the water contained and not making a mess. I looked on the bottom for magnets to ensure that water won't blow this curtain out of the tub and would keep it in place , or some sort of weighted bottom but there isn't any. The piece like I said is extremely thin and one can equate it to a very thin , yet pretty trash bag. As much as I wanted to like it, and I do love the design, for practical use in a shower/tub combination or stand alone shower I cannot see recommending it. Maybe good for “staging” a home to sell it but definitely not for practical use. Therefore I will not be using this in my shower because it's even too thin to line my high quality polyester shower curtain with. Really very disappointing as I expect better quality from Mainstay products.
