The Mainstays Heavyweight PEVA Shower Curtain Liner is waterproof, odor- and chloride-free, and has a reinforced mesh header at its top, with rustproof metal grommets to prevent tearing. The heavy duty liner is designed to hang straight down so it's close to your tub wall to keep water inside your shower and drafts on the outside. Wipe with a damp cloth for an easy clean. These shower liners are so great I have been giving them as gifts. I love them. I have them in both bathrooms. They are strong, durable, and after 3 years, still in my bathrooms.

The best I have ever bought!

Heavy duty.  Grommets are thick and sturdy.  Mildew free.  Bought many liners before, this by far is the best one. Cost a bit more than the others, but will last way longer.  Bought 2 more for second bathroom and cottage.

The only curtains that work in my claw foot tub, they don't end up wrapping around you when you try to shower, the weighted ones and lighter ones don't work.

Review

I love the thicker curtain. Thinner curtains are pulled away from the tub while showering. This one is heavy enough to remain against the tub instead of your leg.

I have been buying this liner for years now; unfortunately, they have changed it (patterned now and not as see through), as well as it's not as heavy duty.

Mainstay 12 Gauge Shower Liner

Off gasping of plastic very strong at first... Ventate well. Heavy duty and well constructed durable grommets. No magnets at bottom of curtain which is fine due to heavy duty material.

Well made... Strong odor from plastic.

Not what I thought

I bought this to replace my light weight cloth shower curtain liner, however it was too heavy for my curtain rod to hold.  I didn't take it out of the package!  If you need a thicker, heavier shower curtain this would be great!  I'll stick to the feather weight curtains.
