Can be sturdy, but also prone to flimsiness.

Adequately covers standard beds without requiring changes.

We needed an underpad that would work as a turning sheet as well for our adult son.
This works very well because the waterproofing part is pliable. 
The one we had before had a plastic sheet as the waterproofing and it finally tore after months of use.

This product is a perfect size for protective coverage.  It is light weight but has good absorption.  The price makes it a great value.  At first I bought only one just to try it out but liked the product so well I bought more.  So far, they launder well and have held up under several washings.  I used to use disposable bed pads but this product works even better and the cost is significantly less.

Great product

I'm a huge fan of Mainstays household products but these pads are disappointingly thin and move around,they bunch up easily and don't look to be very durable with regards to repeated washing. They are certainly better than nothing but I will rely on my older thicker, heavier, washable pads.

OK but less than I expected.

they have a lightweight plastic to make them leakproof.  this would be great if they would stay in place.  they are too lightweight, any movement and they get displaced.  defeats the purpose.  i bought these to replace the disposable pads that slip all the time, this is no better

They weren't what I expected. They work well but tend to wrinkle up. I thought they would be heavier and stiffer.

I have four of these and they have saved a mattress as well as some added laundry expenses. 

The heavy protectors I have used in the past are much more difficult to wash and more costly to wash.

Cheapest alternative so far

Like to  use them as large bib cover over clothing to prevent spills from wetting clothes. Dislike as actual bedpads because they are thin, slippery,slide, do not stay in place like heavier made bedpads that have a gripping type material to keep in place

Bed Pads

The two layers are attached only at the edges and slip around. My elderly mother nearly slipped off the bed.  However, I was very happy with the return process.

Very, Very thin. Don't think this will absorb much or hold up to much laundering. I guess it will do in a pinch though till I get a better quality shipped. Better than using disposables alone.  My 31 yr old son was born with a spinal defect so we have been using these for decades and quality really varies. And no you don't have to pay $20 a pad. There are good ones out there for half that just have to search it out. As with all medical supplies some vendors will overcharge just because they can

i was searching for bed pads n got this bc i could have it same day. But that was a waste of $10!! Igs not absorbent at all really. Also did not protect the sheets or mattress!! Thank goodness I have a small carpet cleaner to clean the mattress!
