It is a bit lighter than I expected but works fine. Nice whistle !

Nice kettle for a fair price !

This kettle has a great design and look.  Excellent quality and boy, is that whistle loud!  I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

LOVE THIS KETTLE

For the price, it's a very decent kettle.  Transfers heat well, easy to clean, but by the time the kettle is boiling, the handle does get uncomfortably warm.  Not hot enough to burn, but enough to be painful without an oven mitt.

Mostly Fine

Nothing fancy. It looks good, whistles loudly. REALLY Loudly. The only "problem" is that the handle gets hot, so you'd want to keep a thick rag handy for pouring. You could pay more but the real question is why would you? I'd rate this one a great value for the money.

2.5 Liter "Mainstays" Whistling Tea Kettle

This kettle is lightweight, affordable and boils enough water for my needs.

Lightweight!

The only issue I have is that the whistle is barely audible. It may be a defect with this one kettle. Otherwise, if you are looking for a whistle kettle that is easy on the ears, I recommend this one.

Great value and a sleek design

It pours well and whistles good, however, my unit leaked from the bottom seam from the very first use. Disappointed. Also, it is light weight but keeps water hot to warm for a long time.

I gave this kettle one star because it began leaking from the bottom seam after first use.  This is what I bought to replace a kettle that had the same problem.. only the previous kettle had close to five years of almost daily use under its belt.. I would recommend spending the extra money and getting a better quality kettle.

You get what you pay for, I suppose..
