Ease Of Assembly

Design

Sturdiness

Material and construction could be more premium.

Can be affordable, but may not match quality.

Can be sleek, but also prone to durability issues.

Has an overpowering odor that may be unpleasant for users.

I bought this clothing rack to give my bedroom a little more space by removing the dresser. The set up was very simple and the rack can hold a lot of weight. The design is practical and looks elegant. I recommend it.

easy set up and works great

I've been looking for a clothes rack for a while now for my entryway where I can easily hang my coats. I saw this in store and decided to give it a try. Took some time to align the screws in place but the unit was otherwise very easy to assemble. It did seem a little wobbly at first but once I put a few coats on and my bags, it was just fine. I love the natural wood look and it was exactly what I was looking for.

Great look and worth the money!!!!

It functions as promised. For its price its pretty okay quality (4 stars instead of 5). It feels a bit flimsy, but it has proven to be very sturdy, and not fallen once since using (almost two weeks). Beautiful colour. I managed to hang 10 pieces of outerwear. It still has room for guests to hang their coats. It was a simple piece for our entryway and within budget. Assembly was not very tricky, but it did need two people.

Good Budget Friendly Entryway Rack

Its cute and doesnt take much space but it is flimsy and doesnt hold much. It toples over if you put too much clothes on it. Becareful when putting it together because the spot that hold the top and bottom together the screw might break the wood if you dont turn if the right direction. It will split the wood.

Careful installation

Not suitable

Crap

Wanted to love this, but the posts did not align with the shoe shelves (the base was deeper than the shelves are). Wasn't able to assemble.

Unable to assemble

Cheaply made and low quality it's not value for the price. Thin, brittle wood held together by poorly applied glue and nail gun. The one pivot point split during set up and the strong smelling varnish chipped just from taking it out of the bag

Not worth the price

Purchaced to hold clothing that needed to be steamed. 5 dress shirts, a dress and 2 tshirts caused the top rod to swing at the shelf joint and the wood shattered. The snapped "wood" (think popsicle stick wood) caused large holes in 2 silk blouses as they fell from the rod.
Very cheap and not worth $5... and ruined $200 in clothing.

Cheap wood, bad design

This looks okay once assembled, but the wood is awful. Brittle, cheap looking, with an extreme chemical smell that makes me not want to have my clothing anywhere near it. Easy to assemble, especially if you have a second person to hold the longer pieces straight. But after assembling, I just want it out of my house. Don't waste your money on this.

Disappointed

Mainstays Wood Garment Rack front-facing freestanding wood frame with a sturdy wood hanging bar and two lower shelves for clothing organization and space-saving storage. Holds hanging garments, folded clothes, shoes, boots, purses and accessories; portable and easy to assemble, ideal for bedrooms, entryways, mudrooms or laundry rooms. Often used as an open wardrobe for capsule wardrobes or a temporary closet.
