I assumed my hair loss and dryness was due me having  Systemic Lupus but I did not realize how bad hard water can be on the hair and skin overall. I have shower filters but not a whole house filter so the water is still very hard. The first time I tried it I noticed the difference immediately.  After drying, it was the best my hair has looked and felt in so long. I've tried many natural and chemical free shampoos/conditioners and not one can compare to this product. Even days later it felt very soft and the shine. Excellent. So far I've used it twice but I'm sold. SOLD!! I love this product. I wish I found it sooner.

I love what this shampoo does for my hair. I have a lot of gray and blond lights in my hair and it freshens the color every time. I can go longer between trips to the salon.

i have very fine long hair and washing it is a chore. anyone with long fine hair can relate to this: have to comb all the knots out before getting it wet, and have to use a pound of conditioner for detangling with the wet brush. i also have hard water, so I gave this a go. I'm not kidding when I say it completely changed my hair routine.  my hair felt weightless after the first treatment (with the powder mix) I didn't need detangler and because I have to wash my hair daily (it gets oily fast) after one week my hair had more life in it than I can ever remember having as an adult. If you've been eyeing this product and not sure if it's worth it, it absolutely is.  word of caution, though, for dyed hair - it will strip your hair color if the dye bonds onto hair with hard water minerals, so I use the treatment the day before I color my hair.

I  have naturally curly hair. Living where I do we have very hard water. This is a great product to get my hair gunk free.  Makes my hair very soft. Use the packet with caution if you have color treated hair. It will strip your color.  
This is the second time I have purchased Malibu  hard water.  First time was from Amazon

Living in the ozark hills w/curly hair.

I have well water and it has been very hard on my hair. It is brittle and breaks. Since I have started using this shampoo and conditioner my hair feels soft and looks healthier. It smells great and lathers well with small pea size amount. It should last awhile. I will be purchasing again. Also it as package great and no leakage.

Soft beautiful hair

This product is the only thing that works to take the iron out of my hair. I have blond highlights in my hair, and I use the Shampoo and Conditioner about once or twice a week and the packets about every two or three weeks - sometimes once a month depending what my hair looks like.

I have water from an artesian well and it is very limestone. These products are great for my hair

Best results ever

I stumbled upon this while staying at a resort. The softness of my hair and smell captivated me. It works wonders and brights my blonde. I bought the whole package with spray conditioner too. Love it

Great daily wash

This review is what I've found during my experience with using this product. 

This is NOT the same treatment you would get in a salon. It in no way does the same thing. 

Let's start with the crystals. All they do is clarify, more accurately, strip your hair of a all oils and any buildup. It does nothing that the salon product does. If you're thinking about spending more money on this brand, there's no need to. You can get the same results from any clarifying shampoo. (Neutrogena's Clarifying, Gentle Clarifying or Anti-Residue Shampoos are excellent options)  Follow that up with a conditioner or a mask, in shower or leave in, and you'll see the same , or better, results. (In my opinion, your hair will feel better since the conditioner in this kit is awful.) Also, there are plenty of clarifying shampoos in the market, not just the one I mentioned above.
