The picture of this part led me to believe that it was appropriate for an old style Mansfield flush valve. Those old style valves are what I have in the 5 toilets in my house and am not looking to replace them entirely since they actually have been quite reliable for 10 years. I've basically just had to replace the valve seals now and then. Those are still available at the home stores but all the rest has been removed. The valve assemblies are still available on- line but apparently not the flush tank levers. I had one break in one of the toilets but I ended up having to modify this lever that I am reviewing by shortening and straightening this one. But at least the toilet is fixed without having to replace everything just because the lever broke. Whether anyone else wants to do this I don't know but the point is that this lever is made for the new Mansfield flush valves which have a chain lifter. So if you have the old one and can't find a suitable flush lever you could cut this one (I used a hack saw) and then, since this lever is curved a little to align with the chain in the new Mansfield system, I straightened the lever by heating it slowly until the plastic was bendable.

It was a universal flush lever instead of actual Mansfield part. It did not fit even after cutting the arm. It was curved in the wrong direction

The item I was sent was not the item pictured. It was not a good replacement and could not be used on my Mansfield toilet.

Was way to big for my toilet they should say what the length is in the add.The picture looked like it was the right size but not even close.
