because it said available in stock pick up available. now that I bought it it says not available till tomorrow. then that means its not available rite  now. Im  heading that way tonight. now I have to make 2 trips. if its not available why did it say it was.

I have this annoying indoor/outdoor carpet that NO vacuum can clean.  That is until the    Dirt Power Max XL Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner came along.  In one  swipe the carpet is clean.   It's the brush in front that makes all the difference.   The hose is also super handy to use.  All you have to do is release the button pull it out and begin hosing. When you're done put it back. No  extra accessories to attach.  It's great!

I Love This Vacuum

I'm giving it 5 stars, because This would be a great vacuum except it is sooo LOUD!  Turn this on and you could hear it 2 blocks away...   Suction seems to be great and all seems to work well, except there is no way to turn off the brushes, but it is Way to LOUD for me and I'm pretty deaf, 20% hearing in my right ear and 30% in my left ear.

I love the strong suction but it burnt out after my first use i have never had this issue with these vaccumes I'm glad I got the protection plan but I'm gonna have to return it ,I believe this may be a fluke the noise is extremely loud just out of the box.

The other reviews were right... this is a VERY loud vacuum. I bought it thinking the other people complaining about this were overreaction but they were right. I also don't like that it's made out of cheaper plastic. Other brands that cost similar as this seem to be made out of better plastic.

LOUD VACUUM made of cheap plastic

The assembly instructions stink. It is more cheaply made than any other dirt devil I had. The base is larger and does not fit between certain chairs like the old one did. It is much louder and clanky

Worth the money.. barely

It does it's job ... I was expecting more.  The suction from the hose itself is great but vacuuming is about average, if not less then.  The worst thing about it is that it's ridiculously loud in my opinion.   Every other vacuum I have ever had was not so loud!    I think it's a bit over priced for what it does.  You can get $50 vacuums that do just as well.  I went by the reviews and im suprised because usually they are pretty accurate.   Not this time.   If there wasn't a pandemic going on with the whole world shut down I would probably send it back

Not what I was expecting

This order was not only late, but it came with a broken piece of plastic at the bottom of the box. I've saved the plastic piece and have to find where it broke off the cleaner from either in packing, shipping, or delivery. As far as suction goes, if you have dust bunnies or pets, you're better off with a broom. The suction on this is comparable to that of the cheapest off brand vacuum on the market. It grinds dust bunnies and fur into the carpet. If you bend down and pick at them and make them fluffy again, it will eventually suck them up. To vacuum a four foot wide by ten foot long entrance hall, I had to keep going over the same areas over and over again - and this is right out of the box! It took nearly twenty minutes to vacuum the space. The bedroom took 15. The office took 10. It has to be emptied continuously as it doesn't fill the container but holds the dirt toward the top under the filter. By how loud it is, you'd think it would be super strong, but it is not. It's just loud.  I expected much better for the money, and I'm disappointed. Dirt Devil makes this vacuum sound fantastic, but it's worse than the thirty dollar vacuum that I replaced with this one. It will be my last Dirt Devil, and if I had another vacuum on hand or money for a different one, I'd return this one immediately. Instead, I'm stuck with it. Don't you be stuck with it too.

Well... this is pretty bad.

Worst vacuum I have ever owned! Doesn't suck more than half the time. I spend more time messing around with it trying to figure out why it's not sucking then actually vacuuming. It's extremely loud, and as I said, it has no suction power! It just shoots the dirt around, even the wand has less than poor suction. And this is straight out of the box it's not like it lost suction over time.

Suction is horrendous

This was a replacement vacuum.   It broke the 1st time I used it.  I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true inregards to this vacuum.
