I purchased this several months ago and it has passed the dirt, grime and mess challenges a Mother of boys only knows. It's suction it strong and it gets ALL the nitty gritty disastrous mishaps cleaned up, even my worst enemy glitter. It is powerful enough to make a glitter catastrophe on carpet and linoleum look like it never happened. It picks up quickly, efficiently but is gentle on furniture at the same time. I have found myself a keeper and I love it, bring on the messes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the windtunnel max capacity vaccum cleaner was purchased for a rental condo I own. Purposfully I purchased a Hoover because of their reputation and longevity in the markeplace.. this was purchased after a careful review of the market and competing products -- and dollar for dollar comparisons the Windtunnel came out tops for cleaning brushing and and overall ease of use.

I bought this near the beginning of the pandemic. We moved into this house In September but didn't own a vacuum until I bought this one. It's pretty AMAZING. It sucked up the 6 months of the kids dirt and the dogs hair like a champ. We've had it for 4 months now and it still works great. The only slight complaint I have is that the motor feels like it runs hotter than it should, or than I'd prefer, but it seems solid with no issues thus far. Great value for the money. Oh, and it also works just as good on my hardwood floors as it does the upstairs carpets.

GREAT SUCTION CAPACITY!

My vacuum no longer worked and was looking to find a new vacuum with the powerful suction and features to suit my needs and found this unit. The Hoover Windtunnel Max Capacity. My home is comprised of wall to wall carpeting and bare floors. This vacuum has impressive suction power whether using it on carpet or transitioning to bare floors. It suctions all kinds of dirt and debris of different sizes without shooting it back out. The carpet looks so fluffy and freshened up and bare floors are left with no dust or fine dirt/grit behind that they pass the white socks test. This vacuum comes with all the attachment tools I need to do a thorough clean for floors and above floors specially when you have pet hair that you need to get cleaned. No dirty bags to deal with. It has a large capacity dirt cup that is so easy to empty. It has an extended reach so I can get to those hard to reach places and a long cord to let me get to where I need to clean without having to keep looking for an outlet to plug into. I honestly have to say that I secretly had my doubts about this vacuum performing as well as my old one BUT it has proven me wrong and has performed exceptionally well!! I'm very pleased with this unit and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vacuum that will clean all kinds of dirt and debris and best of all take care of pet hair. It will not disappoint you!! Thank you Hoover for making this gem!!

Impressive Results!!

I love this vacuum. The suction is very strong. No bags which is a plus because it's better for the environment. It's not noisy like other vacuums. This is by far one of the best vacuums out. This vacuum picks up the small particles in my shaggy carpet. Its light weight and very powerful. 100 % recommend this vacuum!

Very powerful

I have a similar model I bought over a year ago and I love it. Our home is a two story and carrying the one up and down stairs was a pain. So, I bought another one. We have several pets that are mainly indoors, and I vacuum daily. This makes it easier.

Great vaccum

We have low-cut carpet and needed something that did the job without "going to town" on price. This product has met our expectations on all fronts so far. Our last Hoover served us well for over twenty years and we hope to get a similar lifespan out of this one.

Works for Us

I bought this to replace a Hoover Tempo and all the things I didn't like about the Tempo have been addressed in this newer model: the cord has to be released from the machine,instead of falling out all the time; it is bagless so I can see when it needs to be emptied and don't have to buy bags; and it is easy to empty the container when it's full which is usually when I'm finished cleaning. It also has more brush that hits the floor or carpet so it pulls up a lot more critter hair and I feel like the house is a lot cleaner.

TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO SCREW CANNISTER BACK ON AFTER EMPTYING. AFTER EMPTYING CANNISTER, IT IS HIT AND MISS GUESSWORK FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES TO SCREW CANNISTER BACK ON. (UNTIL U GET LUCKY WITH MATCHING UP THE CORRECT BRACKETS.) ON/OFF BUTTON IS A REAL PAIN AND ADDS TO CLEANING TIME. A GUY HAD TO ENGINEER THIS B/C A WOMAN WOULD HAVE ADDRESSED THE ABOVE ISSUES IN A SECOND. IT IS VERY TIRING AND FRUSTRATING AND TIME WASTING VACUUM TO USE. I DREAD USING IT EVEN THOUGH SUCTION IS GOOD. WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER ONEOF THESE MODELS AND HAVE USED HOOVERS ALL OF MY LONG LIFE.
