Straightforward disassembly and cleaning processes.

So easy to clean that I'll use it more than once a day. Cleaning usually discourages me from preparing food. Not with Omega! I use the spray cleaner normally used to wash vegetables and the included brush. I'm done in 2 minutes. Note you have to wash right after juicing ginger don't wait.

Works great on carrots and ginger, okay with celery. Struggles a little bit with moving cabbage and leafy things through unless the pieces are very small. Doesn't do well with citrus or broccoli, but can be pushed out if you follow up with a carrot. Does great with pomegranates. The extra filter keeps foam out, if you care about that. Quieter than a blender. It takes me 8 minutes to disassemble and clean everything, and empty the pulp.

This is a mighty little machine and performs well. Great value for the money, I think! I bought it to "squeeze" milk from mature coconut - which it did just fine but there was a little extra pulp involvd but not any more than any other machine, probably. Overall, though, it's a worthwhile purchase and I like it!

i use it every morning to make 16 oz. of juice. spinach, kale, carrots, and apple. works really good and very easy to wash up after using it. my neighbor saw me use it. And he bought one just like the next day.

The Omega 8006 is a great buy. Not only does it juice fruits and veggies, but it allows you to reuse the pulp if wanted. By far the best juicer i have owned. doesn't give you that frothy layer of foam that typical juicers do. Great value for those who seriously want to invest in their health and diet. For those that want to dabble, i suggest a cheaper juicer.

Beyond just a juicer

I only have used this for about 6 juice recipes. But, I would say it works great. I read a lot reviews before picking this one. Yes, it can clog up slightly with certain types of food, but you quickly learn which ones will "clean" out the ones who clog it up. Kale and spinach clog it up, but just use some celery, cucumber, orange, something like that to help push through the pulp and clean the machine.

This machine really gets the juice out of whatever you put in it. After spending a lot on groceries, you will want a machine like this to get every bit of juice out. In the long run, the cost of this machine will pay for itself.

The omega 8006 masticating juicer is wonderful!! It's extremely easy to use and to clean. You can make so many different things using this item. I would recommend this to anyone looking I buy a juicer.

Love this juicer

We used a sisters daily for a week.  Loved it and bought our own.  love love love it.

I love this juicer, though it does take much more time than I expected. Once I learned the right speed for filling the shoot, I've had nothing but fantastic juice! Very easy to put together, take apart and clean. Highly recommend for the serious juicer!

Great job!

This is a great juicer but the auger is small so you have to cut food into small bits.  I've had cheaper juicers with larger augers that eliminate a lot more prep work.   Some people prefer a smaller footprint but I prefer something strong and sturdy.  The plastic parts seem pretty delicate but I'll see over time how it holds up.  I like the removable strainer so I can keep pulp in my drink if I want it more like a smoothie.   Does really well with greens e.g. spinach - more juice and very dry pulp waste.

Good juicer but a bit smaller than I would like.
