No problem because freezes effectively, 4boxes are very useful and rarely available on competing products, however there are missing stop notches for the wheels

The Marathon 10 cu.ft. Granite Chest Freezer has been a great addition to our garage setup, especially for extra storage.

The larger capacity makes a big difference. It easily handles bulk shopping and allows us to store a wide variety of items like meats, vegetables, homemade meals, breads (including homemade bread), and plenty of strawberries and blueberries that we freeze after going berry picking in the summer. Even with that, it fills up quickly in our case, which shows how useful the extra space is.

So far, performance has been very solid. It cools efficiently and keeps everything at a stable temperature, even in a garage environment. It's also quieter than expected for a freezer of this size. 
The interior light when you open the lid is a great added touch and makes it much easier to find things, especially when it's full.

The granite-style finish is another standout feature. In a garage where dust is unavoidable, it does a great job of not showing dirt easily, which helps it keep a clean look without constant wiping.

We also have the 7 cu.ft. version, and both units are always in use and fully loaded, which really highlights how dependable they've been for us.

We're very satisfied with this freezer, it offers great capacity, reliable performance, and thoughtful design. It's great to see a Canadian company producing products like this.

Perfect for Stocking Up – Spacious & Reliable

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This freezer fits our needs perfectly .  We are empty nesters and don't need a huge freezer . I like the three baskets that come with the freezer , helps to separate different items for easy retrieval.

Perfect size

Lovely small chest freezer - purchased 5 1/2 years ago.  Works very well, 4 baskets are much appreciated.  We actually ordered 3 additional baskets and are very grateful for the organizational flexibility they provide.  We are actually considering a 2nd purchase.   It's positioned next to the refrigerator, and we are constantly opening/closing the freezer to retrieve whatever item is on the daily menu.  We bought the freezer on line (not seen in person).  Chose it for the size, # of baskets, simplicity and COLOR.  Love the color; don't like white freezers.

Marathon 10 cu.ft. Granite Chest Freezer

This freezer is the perfect size and has 4 baskets and interior light. It is very quiet and well insulated for indoor or outdoor use. The rolling & locking wheels are a bonus. The granite color is great for any decor. It does frost up over time, but most freezer do and it is easy to clean. Highly recommend.

Great freezer

The unit has worked well since it arrived. We just plugged it in and let it get to temperature and it has worked fine ever since. The freezer is located in our house, not in the garage. It is a nice height which allows you to reach to the bottom without a lot of effort. We have had the unit for over a year, and hope that it continues to run as well as it has for a long time.

Good experience so far

We both are totally satisfied with our Marathon 10 cu. ft granite Chest Freezer.  The exterior finish is really cool and easy to maintain/clean.  The four stackable food baskets  greatly aid in ease of retrieving frozen products. We purchased this chest as a overflow unit. To date it receives equal use with our original chest.

Totally satisfied

We're pleased with this replacement deep freezer to this date.  After the last one, purchased in 1981 died recently, we decided to buy Canadian-only for the currently obvious reasons.  This slightly smaller unit has castor wheels and is waay easier to maneuver on our concrete garage floor for it.  We like its black exterior paint job, and we don't need the traditional white look that shows up everything, including the tooth marks that a black bear left on the old one-haha, way back, now on the porch of a bush cabin.  One demerit point:  The cover of this new freezer feels a smidgen cooler than the surrounding air temperature, compared to what we would sense by feel from the old freezer.  Is it from a bit less insulation materials, there?  The side panels have better insulation in that we can't feel that cool temp leakage.  On the other hand, we've experienced a couple of area power outage events with the new freezer, and it preserved the interior cold temps for protecting the contents just fine, as per what one would expect.  So yes, we would buy this fine Canadian freezer make again.

Good Product

We have had this freezer for 4 years. This freezer was purchased to replace our 35 year old larger freezer, which was starting to fail. We purposely bought a smaller one and this fit nicely. Some may like that it has wheels but the freezer does move if you lean against it while digging deep inside. Too bad they can't be locked somehow. Other than that it is a fine freezer that keeps everything frozen as it should.

Great little freezer even 4 years in

Almost double the price of other similar freezers to support the Canadian manufacturing sector but sticker says freezer made in China.  Then interior light doesn't work and replacement light never receive.  Then lid of freezer is warped because it is higher by 1/8" on right size than on the left size and frost is building inside at the back right.
