In a world of lane departure sensors, rain sensing windshields, traction control, On-star (with subcription) phone connectivity and all other easy to break/designed to break useless features, (extra charges apply), that people have no option to opt out of nowadays, It is nice to find a simple tradtional device that works.

Stirling Marathon Appliances

There are several things I like about this fridge. First the dimensions.  The fact that the fridge was not as deep as other 18 cu. ft. models drew my attention to it,  a benefit in my kitchen.  I really liked the clean crisp lines, it's stylish in its simplicity.  The price was attractive.  I love the interior layout including the double drawer freezer.  I am continually amazed at what it will hold both in the fridge and the freezer.  Because it's not do deep, things don't get lost in it.
My next door neighbour liked this fridge so much they bought the identical make and model.

Excellent product, would buy again!

We have owned our Marathon 18 cubic inch French door refrigerator for over a year and are really happy with this purchase. It has given us no issues so far. The workmanship on this model is very good and it is an extremely quiet refrigerator. We were happy with shelving arrangement when we bought it and are still happy with the design layout and sturdiness of the shelving. Highly recommend it.

High Quality and Quiet Refrigerator

It looks great, it works well, it has a lot of space for food.  The bottom freezer is so convenient, and again holds a lot of food.   I would like to see a drawer available to hold meat.  There is a buzzer that is activated if one of the doors or freezer drawer has not been closed completely.  It is an awesome feature however, I would like to see that volume be louder.

Stylish & Practical

I've had this fridge for a few years now have never had any major issues with it. My only real complaint is that on the left had door. The seal that turns to latch in place to close both door together, something internally went wrong and the seal itself is made in 2 parts would seperate and pop when I open that door . Something internal was causing the mechanism was to seperate the two parts causing the pop when opening the door while rotating out the 90 degrees. Except it wouldn't rotate the full 90 because of whatever it was catching on, so when closing the door it would slam on the seal and I would have to buy hand rotate it so that it could go back into its slide. Besides that fridge has worked well for me and I'd recommend it. Can't beat it for the price.

Reliable but has some issues

.This is a great fridge that suits our day to day needs well - and fits in the space we have available in our kitchen.  It is reliable and surprisingly spacious. If there's a down side, its the size of the drawers which are a bit small to accommodate some vegetables.  Both doors need to be open to access a drawer, so a single drawer might accommodate things better

Daily use fridge

I loved the size of the fridge. It fit perfectly in my space. It was counterdepth and didn't overpower my beautiful new kitchen.  Unfortunately it only lasted 3 months and Tanguay, the store I bought it at told me that this fridge was discontinued and I had to choose something else. My new fridge is a Whilepool which I hate with a passion. Am waiting for it to conk out so I can get something else. So disappointed it only lasted 3 months. Sucks!

30 inch counter depth Marathon.

The fridge has been working really well. No complaints there. I feel you could improve by giving more choice for fridge shelf height. My Britta water jug did not fit. The door rubbers ripped and broke ( not due to misuse). And one door seal stopped flipping back into place on its own.

Alright but could be better

I would never buy this product again because the fan has broken every 6 months since we bought it.  When you spend this much money on an appliance it should not be breaking in the first six months and then every six months after that - it's ridiculous.

Poor quality

Beautiful fridge when I received it, but nothing but problems since about 10 months after using. Always freezing up despite putting very minimal in both fridge and freezer. Always have to unplug and defrost in order to get it to work again. Have lost multiple fridge loads of groceries since purchasing this fridge. Company offered to replace but I had to get the fridge to a store which would have cost me more than the fridge itself. Not impressed.

Bad quality.
