Our five months of ownership of the Marathon 21.2cu ft freezer /fridge has been an excellent experience. When we compared it to competitive units we really liked the look of Marathon inside and out and thought it represented a good bang for our buck. Some of the things we like about it are that It maintains a  constant, even temperature, is very quiet and has some good design features particularly the shelves, door compartments and panel inside at the back of the unit that prevents frozen goods from blocking airflow (a common problem on other fridges). We had to reposition the unit and found it easy to move on its rollers. We did not know Marathon before we bought our freezer but are now happy th know it is a Canadian company. Bonus.

Stirling Marathon Appliances

I have only had this freezer (refrigerator) since November 2025, but so far I am extremely happy with it.  I love the size of this freezer.  I have so much room, and I am not fighting with the food everytime I want to find something.  I love that this product is Canadian made.  I also love that it comes with a 5 year warranty.  I have not used this appliance as a refrigerator.  So far all is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's freezer and very good quality-price it is very quiet when it is running and it has no frost it's been more than a year that I have it and it goes very well we stay a little surprised once we open the door and we close it it again it gets back in mode 100 frost and it makes a slight noise but once we know it we are not surprised anymore.

Other than the fact the freezer looks great, runs quiet and has awesome lighting… The layout inside is perfect and more than adequate for a half of beef, plus a few shelves for other groceries as well!

Mammoth Marathon

I replaced an old chest freezer with this upright model.  I love how easy it is to access the food , I never lose anything to the bottom.  I would definitely buy this product again

This has been a great freezer and we use buspans on it to organize all our stuff. I want one as a fridge too and hope that accessories like drawers and such can be added for the meat/cheese and veggies.

Love the size a look of the freezers.  Just wished it had storage baskets and door shelves the had better access like they swiveled out a bit. With just flat shelves, it is hard to keep things organized
