We started to feed our dogs a raw food diet and required a smaller freezer to store their food. The size is perfect.  The freezer is located in our home office and is a handsome piece.  The colour makes it blend into the office decor and not stand out as a kitchen appliance.  It is very efficient in avoiding frost build-up - beyond our expectations. The motor/compressor is remarkedly quiet and does not interfere when we're working in the office.  We are very happy with it and highly recommend it.

This is the perfect small freezer for us. I have one at our cottage and another at home. I buy our dogs food in bulk so it accommodates that and some frozen food for us. The baskets are really helpful to organize things and it's not so deep that you can't get to the bottom. Very pleased with our purchase and even better, it's Canadian. I've been happy to support Canadian business for a long time.

Love a good, reliable Canadian product!

I bought this freezer as an emergency purchase years ago when my old freezer I had had for decades died.  This worked perfectly then and is still going strong.  We have occasional power failures that last several hours and the food inside stayed frozen with the lid firmly closed. i have no regrets and it was an excellent price then.  I would purchase again if i need a second freezer.

Emergency purchase

We've been using the Marathon 7 cu.ft. Granite Chest Freezer in our garage, and it's been working extremely well in that environment.

The size is perfect as a secondary freezer.  It fits easily in the garage without taking up too much space, while still holding a good amount of food. We use it for extra groceries, meats, homemade meals, and everyday extras.

Performance has been excellent so far. It maintains a steady temperature even with typical garage temperature changes, and everything stays properly frozen. It also runs quietly, which is a nice bonus. The interior light when you open the lid is a really useful feature as well, especially in a garage setting.

One thing we really appreciate is the granite-style finish. In a garage setting where there's always some dust, it does a great job of hiding it compared to a standard white finish, so it continues to look clean with minimal effort.

We also have the 10 cu.ft. version, and both freezers are in constant use, they're always full, which really speaks to how useful and dependable they are for our needs.

We're very happy with this freezer, it's reliable, well-sized, and clearly designed with real-world use in mind. Always nice to support a Canadian company as well.

Perfect Garage Freezer – Compact & Reliable

Absolutely love my freezer.  It not only looks beautiful but it runs so quiet.  Love the size and the four baskets for easy sorting.  Definitely would recommend it.

7 cu.ft. Granite Chest Freezer

We are loving this freezer. It is a from that fits easily in our cold room and has a perfect amount of space to be able to keep foods frozen at a perfect quantity for our household.

This freezer runs quietly and has a nice smooth interior and a good seal.  Frost buildup on the inside has been minimal.  The 4 baskets make it easy to fill it up yet easily access what might be at the bottom.

This freezer is great for a small family.  It fits easily into a small spot and being a granite colour, it blends in with cabinets or storage units.  It came with baskets, and we added extra baskets and boxes to keep it super organized.  It's also easy to defrost.  Now that we've had it for some time, we notice that the gasket in one corner is out of shape, which lets in some air.  Need to defrost more often.

Great Small Freezer

Despite many attempts, accumulation of ice makes the opening and closing of the freezer door very difficult.
My reaching out to the company was fruitless.
