Bought the 1000 pound swing down trailer jack. Admittedly I bought it on price, but it seems to be of good quality and value. I'm replacing a vertical post type of jack on my new utility trailer. I don't think I will be using it regularly but it will do the job. Easy installation, total time from opening the box until it was installed was about 15 minutes.

Recent purchase

Tow Smart

More convenient, faster and easier than original jack. Karavan trailer wasn't thinking. They put jack too close to the hitch. Tailgate hits top of jack when put down. You guys probably made a lot of money over that with people doing the same as I did.

Upgrade

1,000 lb swing down trailer jack was just what I needed. I use the trailer to haul bags of wood pellets and needed something to keep the tongue off the ground. Easy to install and easy to use. Couldn't ask for more.

Utility Trailer

I moved about a year and a half ago 3.5 hours away after the death of my wife. All I had was a 5x8 trailer pulled by an Equinox. At the time, I couldn't afford to by the tongue jack. And was constantly toting a concrete block when I was towing. Sometimes I had to have helphooking the loaded trailer up. It is such a God send.

Finally, no more physical struggles.

Luckily I am a retired engineer and worked my way through mounting the Jack.....but I felt the Installation Instructions could be a little bit more clear. Also I bought a 2000# Swing Down Trailer Jack which I believe is not listed in your Drop Down menu.

Instructions were a little Vague

I bought a TowSmart Zinc-Plated Swing Down Trailer Jack last fall and installed it on our trailer. I wanted to move the trailer last week but the retainer ring snapped in two when I started jacking it up. But I just turned in a warranty claim for it so TowSmart has not had time to fix the issue for me at this time. I'm hoping it will work out well

Had to add spacers for the wheel one side of didn't stick out far enough very poor set up or just bad quality control if the bolt was tightened up would lock the wheel adding the spacers made the wheel roll like it should

Well for the first two days it was great! Easy to install, easy to use, etc... BUT one the third day the snap ring (that holds the jack on the mounting bracket) snapped in half! Might not be a bad idea to include a spare snap ring... just a thought.

Consumer Services

Installed the jack and am using it but the mechanism doesn't operate smoothly at all. It's almost as if cogs are missing in the gears. It works a little but the crank jumps and binds and then operates and then starts jumping and binding again. Not happy at all with it. Now I'll probably have to change it out again.

Disappointed

Someone had added very little grease to the cranking mechanism. When cranking it sounds like it's skipping a cog every time because of the effort to put it on, I'm not going to return it at this time.

Quality does not come up to price.
