This is a great investment to purchase. The game has tons of games and you can easily lose plenty of weight just playing. I bought this game a few days ago and Me and a few buddys have been playing this for 4 + hours . The only reason i stopped is because my risk hurts because we get so intense........ Great Game

Very Fun Game

My two boys, ages 9 & 5, cannot get enough of this game and we love to play as a family. There are so many different games to play that they never get bored. We all have different events that are our favorite. My sons love the track and field events, my husband likes archery and I like the tampoline. The games are challenging enough that it takes a little time to learn how to play but the directions are all provided right on the game and they even show reminders of what you should be doing with the controllers during the event. My five year old is the most addicted to it. He loves it when he can beat his dad in the events. They got Mario Kart on the same day but it has been collecting dust because they always choose to play the Olympics.

Very helpful screen directions

The thing that I like the most is the fact that you get to see a lot of the venues for the Beijing Olympics. Another fun feature is the fact that you get the option to play with your Mii characters. It is fun to see your character dressed in a track singlet, sharkskin bathing suit and so forth.
The controls can be challenging and you definitely need good timing. I will warn you that you will sweat playing and if you overdue this game, you will be sore the next day. To me it was worth all of it, enjoy this game immensely.

Get Ready to Sweat

If you want a workout or to just have a great time THIS is the game for YOU! This game has awesome challanges and graphics. This is a very challenging game though and I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 10. You use the Wii remote and Nunchuck in just about every way possible and you can spend time with your family and friends in the awesome 2 player mode. This is a MUST HAVE game.

Get a workout

This game has plenty of activities, so you are certain not to be bored. It also is fun to play alone, but more fun to play with others. The first time I played it, my arms were sore the next day so also gives you a great work-out! Graphics and characters are great too. There is a learning curve, and requires quick reflexes but you're able to get the hang of things pretty quickly. Over-all this game is loads of fun and highly recommended!

Great workout

We first rented this game to check it out and loved it!! 4 players are able to participate at one time. The events were fun and competitive. We loved this game. Some of the events are challenging but even my 2yr. old can do the swimming and running. I would recommend this to anyone and not only would they have fun but also they would get a good workout.

I purchased this game for my 11 year old son. He absolutely loves it. It was first on his Christmas list. No problems or complaints. Thank You Wal-Mart for making this purchase so easy.

A Great Mind Exerciser

Overall this is a great game to play, once you are sick of Wii Play and Wii Sports. I love the variety of the events and characters. Gameplay is relatively easy to get the hang of, even for those new to Wii like myself.

The only thing is that the game creators seem to have forgotten about left-handed players. This is an issue, since it automatically puts lefty gamers at a disadvantage. For that, I take out one star.

Still, I highly recommend this game, even for lefties who are up for the challenge!

A fun game but...

We were able to get one of the consoles this year, and got Mario-Sonic Olympic Games to go with it. Parents and kids love the variety of events. As Wii first-timers, we found it difficult to master events that require running and jumping (still having problems) but the skill events like archery and hammer throw have been easier. Our favorite is rowing, since it lets us sit down and rest! As your skill increases, you unlock additional bonus games, so things stay interesting.

Our First Wii Game

These games are way to hard. The described hand motions are complicated and hard to understand. There is a way to handicap, but unlike other games (Mario Party for expample) it doesn't seem to help. There is no way to play 2 or 3 players to get better at a game before playing against the computer. My kids age 7 and 11 have written this game off as too hard.
