i needed an extra cart type thing for my microwave and other appliances because i was out of counter space. i previously bought a metal wire utility cart and while that was strong and durable its width wasn't big enough for my big microwave. this was perfect, the microwave fit nicely with a little room to spare. putting it together was a little effort because i did it myself; I'm sure 2 people could do it in much less time. it looks very study, is very spacious and looks lovely in my kitchen. only thing i wish was it came in diff wood colors too, but thats minor. def get this if you need a kitchen cart!

first of all, it shipped very quickly. i received it just a couple of days after ordering. it come mostly put together. it says it's a two person project, but i put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. it's true there are no written directions. but you really don't need them. one picture showing where everything goes. and it's very sturdy. i bought it to put my craft die cutting machines on and it is working great!

great cart…just what i needed

Its a heavy all wood cart. It's very easy to put together.  The first side definitely could use a little help to get started, but with creative use I did it by myself.  All parts came with the product.  It's very sturdy, rolled easy and locks two wheels. I have my professional mixer, bread maker, and variety of extra parts and mixing ingredients on the shelves. Sturdy enough to hold a microwave as well. Like any cart, I would suggest like anything not to put all the heavy weight on top. It is a great product.

Utility cart for kitchen

I did a lot of research and this cart is well made and very sturdy. It has a pullout bread tray, a place for your knives and a bar for a towel. The two shelves below are great for storing whatever you want! What great extra counter space to prepare on. Got it as a dual present for my daughter and her dad and they love it!!

Sturdy and well made cart!

I have another cart with microwave and toaster oven but their feet are always falling between the wire grates. This cart is far better suited for appliances such as those. It's also given me more surface area for Cuisinart Food Processor / Blender & Ice Cream maker. Great addition for those with limited or no kitchen. The cutting board "drawer" will fly right out when pulled to far, no stopper, but I usually don't use the boards that come with furniture anyway.

Like others have said, the wood is very attractive and high quality. Assembly was pretty easy, 1/2 hour w/ hex key included. Feels sturdy and durable, probably could stand on it but not going to test that theory. Only 2 of the wheels are locking wheels which seemed a little bizarre. I guess you can lock opposite corner ones for the most stability or 2 on one side as I've done so you can pivot the cart.

I think the height dimension on the website said 20, which made no sense, as fully assembled the top of the cart from hard floor measures in slightly above 31.5 in. It's still pretty new to me, but at 5'10" it feels pretty comfortable for cutting and other prep work. Maybe just a touch low.

All in all, a phenomenal value for around $100.

Surface Space & Storage Needed? Look No Further!

I was worried about the quality of this product due to some people saying that it was not high quality. However, I thought for this price, I would take my chances and return it if it didn't like it...which I ended up not having to do. The quality was fabulous. The set-up was super easy. It took me about 15 minutes to put it together. The wood was high-quality and solid. The front 2 casters have locks on them. I originally purchased this for a tradeshow. After the tradeshow, I loaded it up with a ton of show material and pushed it about 9 blocks through the tradeshow halls and to my truck. Which is a testament to the quality of the wheels and sturdiness. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This was the perfect solution to my needs.

This cart is built like a tank. Totally solid beechwood, not one inch of fake plywood-like material. Would highly recommendit!!!

SOLID WOOD

This cart is a great addition to my kitchen.  It is solid natural wood, easy to put together.  I did it by myself even though it said it was a two person job.  It is solid, sturdy and the shelves are really nice to display items.  Good quality for price.

Cons:  Not quite counter height and only two wheels lock so there is a little movement if you bump it.

After much research, I settled on this kitchen cart to fulfill my needs for more storage and counter space in my kitchen. So glad I did. As one reviewer has noted, this cart is actually complete solid wood. No particle board, mdf, etc, just beechwood. My boyfriend and I put it together in under 15 minutes. The instructions are only diagrams, but with such few pieces to assemble and only 3 different types of hardware, it was super simple and could be done by one person.

The cart feels very sturdy and is an attractive addition to the kitchen. The only thing I don't really like is the knife block.....we won't be using it and I wish we hadn't attached it to the cart to begin with. Maybe it's my knives, but they don't sit in the block well, they kind of lean awkwardly, so back to the regular knife block they went.

Would highly recommend this piece.

Excellent value, great quality!

I purchased this for the rave reviews, however, must agree with another 1 star reviewer - perhaps I got a defective product. The pre-drilled holes were not aligned, causing the wood to split when attempting to screw the top on. I contacted Hayneedle through Walmart, who provided a return label. They want the entire cart shipped back, when all I want is the top piece. It is a very large, heavy box, and very inconvenient to go through all of that rigamarole, when they could simply ship the needed piece. Customer service provided info for the actual manufacturer, and I sent pictures of the damage to Winsome Wood (winsomewood.com) who have not responded.  Do not waste your time or money on this cart. I'll chalk it up to experience and will never buy another assembly-required piece online, and definitely not from Walmart, Hayneedle, or winsomewood.com! Caveat emptor!
