This is the easiest and cleanest fermentation method I have ever used. Combine these pickle pipes with glass weights and you have practically maintenance free fermentation without spoiling or overflow--no more checking the water levels in fermentation locks or cleaning messy cheesecloth or dealing with fruit flies or the odor. I even use these for sauerkraut in a large Mason jar instead of the crock I used to use. I have bought other brands of Mason jar accessories but none have reached the quality of Masontops.
