The Master Lock No. 312D Laminated Padlock features a 1-9/16in (40mm) wide laminated steel body for maximum strength and reliability. Worth it

This has worked really well for me when I have used it outside. I don't have a worry about the key snapping off in it as I did for the round locks.

Good lock for storage out doors

This is a excellent lock, as expected from Master Lock.

The key gets stuck, but in time it will loosen.

Locking mechanism seems solid enough and weather resistant was a plus due to all the dust where I work. 

It will keep out polite thieves  for a reasonable price.

Too bulky for my needs. Good, well built lock though.

Was outside for a month in Florida and already has signs of calcium and rust build up. It's hard to open now. Will not buy again. It is not weather resistant.

I was looking for weather resistant locks.  The locks I received had blue vinyl covered bodies, but the shackle was bare metal, contrary to the picture on the product page where the shackle is covered in black vinyl.  What is the point of that?  it just lets water into lock mechanism.  I am returning these locks.
