Protect your purchase

The EarBuds sound average and have a good, snug but comfortable, fit. I use them in the gym where the fit and 4ft cord are assets. I bought them so that I could answer a call while listening to music when I work out. But, the MIC doesn't work, and there are no instructions. Also, pressing the remote starts/stops the music app on my phones, regardless of whether I'm watching Netflix or listening to Pandora. Not to brag, but I know my stuff when it comes to electronics (I am, proudly, a "gadget guy").
Thinking the first pair were broken, I returned them and bought a 2nd pair. MIC still doesn't work. Doesn't work on my Droid X or iPhone, or my friends Samsung or HTC phones, either. Went to the Maxell website, couldn't even find the EarBuds, much less instructions.
Emailed their Tech support (address on the package). 2 weeks and still no answer.
Too frustrating for something that should be simple! Will probably return them and try another brand.

Good fit, Okay sound, NO INSTRUCTIONS

I use these headphones with my htc one x and these are great. I was scared it wouldn't work compared to the prior reviews but they work fine and the people I call say they can hear me loud and clear and I can hear them perfectly too.
As for instructions: pretty simple
-hit button to answer or end calls
-while playing music hit button to stop and play music

kinda explains why there didn't need to be instructions with the product. I knew how to work the product within 5 minutes of operating it. Very easy!

As for music it sounds great and cancels a lot of noise in the background. I tried comparing these to my sony in-ear buds that look similar to this and I cannot tell the difference in sound. Plus it comes with a Lifetime Warranty! =D

Great headphones!

I bought them to use in the gym, but the volume of the sound cannot be changed to lower or louder, and the music comes out very low. If I also wanted to use with my laptop to make skype calls, but the MIC doesn't work, and there are no instructions.

Sound quality is poor...Sounds like its coming from a tin can. after less than 30 seconds of listening , I knew these were going back. I highly recommend getting something better.
