[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a stylish, functional and well made all in one stroller, look no further then the Maxi-Cosi Next Generation Zelia Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System. From top to bottom this sleek stroller has quickly become a favourite of mine for being on-the-go with a 7 month old. The frame has an easily adjustable handle for those who are taller or have taller partners. My husband is 6'3” and was thrilled he could comfortably adjust the handle for his comfort on walks. I also love the easy fold on this stroller and the added handle for easy carrying. No pinched fingers folding it down and it stands beautifully on its own when collapsed. I have the stroller in the New Hope tan and was hesitant about stains and dirt, however, the fabric is very durable and wipes down well with a wet cloth. The car seat and interchangeable bassinet/seat are both very well designed with padded comfort for baby. The bassinet was so handy for walks with baby and as she is now bigger I love the full recline on the seat for when we fall asleep on a walk. The Max Shade canopy on the seat is also very generous with an added zip-extend panel. This serves us well to block the sun for a nice on-the-go nap with a handy peekaboo window for me to keep an eye on my little. The car seat canopy on the Mico Luxe is also very big which is so nice to see - in my experience the car seat canopies are often lacking in functional shade for baby. Additionally the light weight frame, large storage basket and smooth drive make me excited to take this stroller on family vacations. Napping on the go has been so easy with the Zelia Luxe and that is what every parent needs for their baby while travelling! My only con with this system is that you have to use the included car seat adapters when using the car seat in the stroller frame. If a future generation of this system is able to seamlessly switch between the car seat and the bassinet/child seat then I would have zero complaints.

I cannot finish this review without mentioning that Maxi-Cosi is amazing in providing accessories INCLUDED WITH THE SYSTEM! No need to purchase a cup holder, rain cover, car seat adapters or stroller muff separate - they all come in the box! THANK YOU for saving all the parents a headache.

My favourite on the go stroller system

doreljuvenile-maxicosi

I love my zelia. Its very easy to use, easy to store and my baby loves her car seat and bassinet attachment. The only problem I faced was the initial setup as a FTM it was very confusing and the instructions were not very clear. Other than that I have not faced any problem with it. I have been using it almost everyday since last three months. Money well spent

Money well spent

The travel system we purchased has been a game-changer! It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and transitions seamlessly from car to stroller. The sleek design and comfortable padding keep our little one cozy and secure. Assembly was a breeze, and the compact fold makes storage simple. Highly recommend for parents on the go!

Comfort and flexible

We bought this a few weeks ago for our upcoming little goose in May, and we are very excited to use it! We assembled it and tried all the modes as soon as it arrived. We're very pleased with how easy it is to set up and switch between modes depending on what you need. We tested every feature, and it all feels quite intuitive. The material also seems durable and like it will last.

The only thing we think could be improved is that when the seat is parent facing, the stroller is bulkier when folded compared to when the seat is facing outward.

Good in everyway so far.

Amazing stroller and carseat! My baby is now 6 months and we wouldn't trade out Zelia luxe for anything! So easy to use and safe. The stroller folds nicely but it's not compact once you switch to the bigger seat, but it's worth it because the quality is amazing!

10/10!

Recently both this for my mini man. I absolutely love this stroller! It's stylish, lightweight, and super easy to fold and unfold even with one hand. The seat switches smoothly between parent-facing and world-facing, and the bassinet option is great for newborns. The ride feels really smooth and my baby naps comfortably even on uneven sidewalks. The storage basket is large enough for a diaper bag and a few shopping bags, which is a big plus. It also looks very premium and feels sturdy. I've tried other brands, but this one really stands out for quality and design. Highly recommend it!

Review of Next Gen Zelia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little background on me, I'm a Toronto mama of 2. A 3.5 year old girl, and a 3.5 month old little boy. We are a very active family always out and about and our little guy is often in the stroller! After having this travel system for a few weeks I have grown fond of it for the most part, with a few minor issues but nothing major.

Let's start with the good, I love the size of the stroller, it's large and sturdy but doesn't weigh too much. Making it easy to control on all terrains, indoors and out, I found the maneuverability comparable to my other very popular stroller system. I also liked the space between the seat and the handle as I will likely be purchasing the scooter seat for my daughter to join us with this stroller, it doesn't feel like I would be kicking the scooter seat!

The under basket is good for holding smaller things but can be difficult to get larger items in due to the stroller frame. I found it useful for small grocery runs and holding our diaper bag. The over design of the stroller is visually appealing and to me that does mean a lot. With the seat; the design of having the bassinet turn into the toddler seat in theory is great, and I appreciate it for the space saving in terms of storing things...but it was a bit convoluted to change from bassinet to toddler chair. My 3 year old did like the seat though, although she was a little tall she still enjoyed the ride! All in all for the budget the stroller is amazing and better than I expected.

The stroller was quick to assemble out of the box; and we found Maxi Cosi's YouTube channel quite helpful for learning how to fold it and convert the bassinet to the toddler chair.

For the car seat I really liked the handle; it's got a more ergonomic handle than my old car seat and as someone with long arms I appreciate it. Over all the car seat was just ok for us, I really think a rethread harness should be standard as having to take the straps completely out to move up an inch takes a lot of time. Especially when it just seems my little one grows over night (really it's not often but seems to come on a day where I'm rushing so I can get over it!) I did really appreciate the expandable canopy on both of the car seat as well as the stroller specifically! My little guy is always napping on the go having a big sister to tag along with and this gives added protection from the elements which we love.

To summarize;
Pros
- price can't be beat
- large sturdy stroller
- expandable canopy
- soft fabrics
- light weight for the size
- one stop shop for stroller and car seat
- Car seat can easily be secured without the base (think taxi/Uber)
- can purchase the scooter board for older kids
- comes with the foot muff for cooler days!
- comes with the cup holder
- comes with the rain cover

Cons
- No rethread harness on the carseat
- to use the car seat on the stroller you need the attachments (It comes with them, just don't misplace them!)

Over all I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. And totally recommend this travel system to my friends and family!

Great Value for the Money

Beau produit!

We bought this stroller with high expectations, and it's meeting most of them. We love the car seat. It's easy to adjust and my daughter seems very comfortable in it. The sun shade extending is a huge plus. The stroller seat is easy to adjust as well.
The stroller is easy to push, and the front swivel wheels make it super easy to get around. It's nice and tall, so easy to get baby in and out. The handle adjusting height is an added bonus. We also love that the handle can go up, and we can push the stroller right up to the table at a restaurant.
The only real downsides we have found:
our handle has always seemed a little loose.
And
I wish the basket was more accessible with the stroller seat on.
Otherwise we highly recommend this for families!

Meeting Expectations

We bought this system 18 months ago and have used it everyday. The ability to easily pop the carseat onto the stroller was a life saver, not having to wake our daughter up to transfer her was awesome. I also loved that the stroller seat attachment was able to recline all the way down into a bassinet, also a life saver when we couldn't get our daughter to sleep without walking a marathon. It also saved us once a few times when change tables were not available at stores, and other buildings. The ability for it to convert into an upright seat is great as well and we often use this now that she is older.
The accessories like the foot muff and rain cover are FANTASTIC also use them a ton. The rain cover could be a bit more pliable of a material just for ease of storing and unfolding. The cup holder I find too shallow and narrow, it isn't realistic for a drink that isn't fully closed while walking.
We did have 1 time where the stroller fell out of the back of the suv and landed on one of the rear wheels a bit which seems to have snapped the single rivet? holding the wheel in the "socket". Because of the super stiff spring we haven't been able to fix it which is disappointing... we can still use the stroller just have to be somewhat cautious of that wheel now as it's not as sturdy. If I could I would give it a 4.5 star rating. We have recommended to lots of friends and have received many compliments.

Almost perfect

Manufacturer

I purchased the Maxi-Cosi Zelia stroller because of the brand's reputation for safety and comfort, but I was very disappointed with the bassinet design. The slope of the bassinet is extremely steep for a newborn. This is not just a comfort issue—it can pose real safety risks.
Newborns need to lie flat to support proper spinal development and maintain an open airway. An aggressive incline can cause the baby's head to tilt forward, increasing the risk of breathing difficulties and even positional asphyxia. For parents who expect a safe environment, this design is concerning.
I cannot recommend this stroller for newborns. Parents should be aware of this issue before purchasing.
