I use this oven for home made bread from scratch and for cooking for 2 persons, when I don't need to use the big one, especially  in summer. It's perfect. It works very well.

It can be pretty hot during summer in California, so there are times my family just pops things into the microwave because the oven or stove generate so much heat it makes our apartment uncomfortable. While this oven does get hot, it doesn't give off as much as the stove or big oven we have. I have a feeling we won't be using the big oven unless it's for a special occasion, as this one does a perfect job toasting bread, and both cooking and heating up dishes. It's also easy and straight-forward to use, as well as clean. I don't have anything but positive things to say about this toaster oven. It even looks great in our kitchen! I am pleasantly surprised by this toaster oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this toaster oven.  It is deeper that I have owned before.  The booklet says it will fit a 12" pizza but I have not tried it.  It does seem to take up a bit more room on the front of the counter but I don't mind that.  Maybe and inch or two.  It has many temperature setting but I mainly use for toasting bagels and English muffins.  It has plenty of room to toast several slices of bread at once.  It comes with a nice metal tray as well.  I would recommend buying.

Nice toaster oven

I recently bought a house and the oven just went out, and I don't have the money to replace it yet. This has been a great substitute for the oven. It's big enough for frozen pizzas or even a whole chicken (though let's be honest, I do the former much more often.) It's also good for cookies and brownies, and the convection setting on it makes them bake more evenly than my full size oven did when it was working.

I love all the features such as the 60 minute timer that automatically turns it off, broil, bake, and toast, and if I need it to stay on longer it has a stay on option. It cooks evenly and fast. This is an appliance in my kitchen that I use everyday. Definitely a life saver when it is too hot outside to use the oven.

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned a toaster oven so I wasn't sure what to expect.  We made a FULL size frozen pizza in it the first day.  We added extra toppings, and baked it directly on the wire rack.  The pizza was hot & delicious great to have two heating elements. Clean up was fairly easy, only had to clean the wire rack.  I hate leftover pizza warmed up in the microwave, and used the toaster oven with the small metal tray to warm up the leftovers.  Much tastier than in the microwave.  We have also used it for toast which also worked great. I have not tried the broiler yet. Not a huge unsightly object on the kitchen counter, would fit nicely in our pantry,  Only negative is the dials on the front are difficult to read, but I'm sure we'll get used to it!

Elite Platinum Toaster Oven

It comes up to 350 degrees in about 4-5 minutes and as long as you don't hold the door open too long, retains it well. With the rack on its lowest setting, it's big enough to get a good boule loaf from our local bakery inside, although if it's a taller loaf the top can get slightly charred. Great toaster oven, love the stainless steel design. There is a crumb tray that slides in and out from the front of the toaster oven, which is a real convenience compared with previous units used ,

Compact yet roomy size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start with the positives:
1) It's huge. This might be a negative if you're short on counter space, but definitely can put a lot in it.
2) Attractive - stainless steal gives clean look.
3) Fully functional - appears to have all the basics of an oven. It basically is a mini oven.

Downsides:
1) My number 1 goal is to make toast. Accurately doing this is a bit touchy here, as you have to set two dials to toast and then the third one you need to set the time, but you only have about a millimeter between 'medium' and 'dark' - I would have preferred easier control at the timer level by giving up the higher end (I'm not going to use this for multiple hours...see below)
2) It is really, really hot. As in, it doesn't insulate well so you should not touch the surface and it has lots of warnings about keeping it 6 inches from other surfaces....which is a lot. I think I lost my last toaster oven when it burned through it's own power cord and I'm fairly certain this one will do the same. I would not use this for a long time unattended.

So, yeah, overall it's pretty handy, but it is definitely a fire risk and is actually harder to make toast, which is probably my #1 desire of a toaster.

Toaster that can do it all...

I returned the first one because it wouldn't get up to tempture, anything over 375.  That means no broil, no toast.  The replacement was just the same.  Also when you put in frozen food i.e. frozen pizza, it has a hard time recovering so the 15 to 17 minute pizza takes 30 with mixed results, a crisp crust isn't one of them.  The dial temp doesn't match internal real temp, ever.  I used a commercial oven thermometer to measure oven temp.
