This light is AMAZING for areas that has low ceilings!
I would also recommend it for ANY room or area that you need good light and want the fixture to just blend in with ceiling. It can be mounted at any angle or anywhere there is an electric box, which is another great feature to this design. 
Have not installed yet, as we are still completing drywall texturing. This light exactly what I was hoping it would be!

Bought two of these as replacement closet lights. Installation was a bit trickier than expected, but provide more than enough light and are very sleek

We bought 2 of the ceiling lights and are very happy with them. We have bought Maxim products before and certainly will in the future.

The light looks great and works great. However it was a bit challenging to be installed as it has a big square on top that you need to fit into the electrical box. I am sure this is the only way to make the light so slim. In my case this meant a new electrical box had to be installed. Once it's installed it looks great but it was more of a project than other thicker lights were.

Looks great but make sure you have a big enough electrical box.

We removed ceiling fans that were too low and outdated. These blend. Good thing hubby does electrical and we had attic access. Rough-in boxes were too shallow, needing to be replaced. Also, dimmers were replaced to work with LED. Not a problem, but be aware when replacing old fixtures. These are for general lighting. Will be used when cleaning, painting, etc. Now to replace the outdated recessed lighting in same area!

Great unobtrusive general lighting.

We tried for hours to install this light but couldn't make it work. The electronics on the back of the light need at least 2" or more deep electrical box to fit into the ceiling. Our electrical box is only 1.5" which is too shallow. The force that is needed to secure the light to the bracket ring is excessive. We damaged our ceiling trying in get the brackets to click into place. Not good engineering design. We will have to return it. Frustrated!

Not for Shallow Electrical Box

I had to return this light fixture because I couldn't install it. After I called the manufacturer, they sent me a different bracket. Unfortunately the new bracket didn't help at all. I found the same style at Home Depot at more than half the price but with an easy attachment system. My new one also allows for setting the brightness at different levels.
