4000W Generator - App Control

Value For Money

I needed a dual fuel generator that I would mostly run on propane because of the convenience of not having to deal with gas and would also run longer. I wanted it not too heavy, small and powerful enough to not just handle the small stuff. The Maxpeedingrods 4000 fills those requirements and more. It is also an inverter generator which means it is also quieter than simple generators. I plan to use it in conjunction with my Bluetti power station during a power outage. When the power station is empty after 7 hours of powering our fridges and freezer, I can recharge the power station with the generator. With the appliances still plugged in to the power station, it takes the generator about 2 1/2 hours to bring the power station back up to 100%. Then I can power the appliances for another 7 hours before having to run the generator again, which makes it a lot quieter. Changing the oil is much easier than having to deal with a drain plug on the bottom as in some other generators. The fit and finish is very good and overall it is well designed for maintenance. The flashy racing car design is quite appealing. The smooth sides make it comfortable to carry. The electric start is fantastic and I haven't even tried the pull cord yet.

Great designed generator

Bought this on sale from Walmart online after watching lots of YouTube videos on the generator.
Was shipped really quick, I had it at my door in 2 days.
The price was considerably cheaper than the other major online retailer and that was on sale as well.

Packaging was nice and came with everything to put together, only plan on running on LP and it started surprisingly quick for the 1st start.
The app starting and info is super cool as well.
Excited to see how it performs long term, but so far very happy.

MaXpeedingRods Generator

Great powerful generator only use it with propane cause i store the unit inside house and not want fuel smell and it start very fast only using propane

Powerful generator

Very quite and love the Bluetooth features

Excellent product, works exactly as advertised, gasoline %26 propane, 3 starting mode, crank pull cord, bluetooth start, push button start, large easy accessible panel to change oil/ sparkplug or other maintenance.

10 on 10 product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this generator for our small tow behind camper. It provides enough power to run everything and is pretty good on gas. We purchased the external gas pump to be able to extend the run when needed

Good generator for the price

walmart.com

After sorting a little initial confusion regarding connection of the internal battery it's been working very well. It's not quiet by any means, but everything works as it should. Walmart's price was better than the other option, and shipping was very fast as well.

Nice unit

I received it a few days ago, filled with oil and gasoline, and started the first time, still looks very quiet, very light, I am very happy

Little wonder

Everything works as advertised. Took a bit of time to download the app and get it working. It is a convenient feature, but time will tell how reliable it is. I notice that it runs a little smoother on propane. So far I am happy with my purchase. The two on positions for the fuel switch was confusing as there was no explanation in the guide. A you tube video indicated that it really belongs to an earlier model that had a manual choke where the second position activates the choke. It is unnecessary now as this model has an electric choke. The generator runs in either poison. The same apples to the fuel cap that doesn't have an adjustable vent and apparently doesn't need one. It would help if the guide explained this.

Very good first impression.

I've not only had the generator for a few days but it arrived well packaged with no damage. No problem setting it up. Started on the second try using propane. Runs smooth, relatively quiet and all the features appear to work as advertised. I'm hoping I can say the same thing three years from now.

Maxpeedingrods mxr4000 GT so far so good

The generator came without internal parts. I can't connect the battery cable (step one when setting up generator). One half of the battery cable does not exist! Generator useless. Poor craftsmanship.

Junk
