This did a superb job powering lights (600 feet worth), sound system, projector, and two coffee carafes for our outdoor wedding. Also surprisingly quiet for a 5000  watt generator. The only problem we had was the automatic CO shutdown, which wasn't really a problem with the unit itself, rather where we had it located: It was tucked in some bushes behind the barn where we held the wedding. The leaves of the bushes around/above it didn't allow the exhaust fumes to escape fast enough, and they built up enough around the generator that it would shut down due to the CO alarm. It took a while to figure out what was going on, because by the time we'd get there to see why it died, the fumes had cleared and it started back up instantly. But moving it to a slightly more open location fixed the issue.

The engine did pop a bit at first, but replacing the original cheapo plug with a higher-quality NGK one fixed most of that. I'd also recommend changing the oil after an hour or so of run-time, as there was some filings from the initial wear-in present in the crankcase after the first use.

Worked very well for price

Very light and quiet. Super satisfied so far...

Have only had two weeks. Not much to report. Did not come with oil, like some other generators. After initial setup, started right up. Ran well. Taking it out for first use this weekend, Aug.24. Fingers crossed.
