I believe this is a fairly good value for the money and I would definitely recommend it for your own child. However, I didn't feel the quality was quite good enough to give as a gift. For instance, the helicopter has smaller plastic pieces on it that are very prone to break easily. Our propeller broke soon after our grandson started playing with it. Overall though it's a pretty cute toy for the money.

Child had the ladder turned around and tried to close it with trial and error play, and it snapped like a twig. Other 2 have heald up so far.
