This is a well made bike rack. The one who complained about it breaking while attached to this RV should not have put it back there. If he read the instructions it specifically says do not attach to Recreation Vehicle..

Great Bike Rack

I am very happy with this bike rack. I needed a rack that holds over 100lbs.  This rack holds 115lbs according to the manual.   I have 2 electric bikes and they weight 52lbs each.   This is the best bike rack (sturdy, quality, price) I have come across (I actually bought one at Costco 6 months ago.  The Costco one cost $172 and holds 120lbs with 2 bike holders).  The MaxxHaul70210 has velcro straps that are good quality and the velcro holds tight (takes a good tug to unstrap  it).  The hitch for this MaxxHaul is 2".  My factory installed Mazda CX-5 hitch is 1.5" so I needed to buy an adapter (see photo). The adapter was $16 at Harbor freight (Walmart has them for $24).    Two good quality things to mention- the nuts had vinyl in the threads which helps them grip (so less chance of the screw coming loose), and the hitch pin had threads which assures that it won't slide out accidently (a nice  safety feature).   The tools i used were a 19mm and 10mm wrench, plus a hex key (no screwdrivers).  Lastly I should say that my bikes are uni-sex so the cross bar is angled down that is why you see in the photo that my front tire is hanging lower than the back tire.  My front tire is about the same height off the ground as my muffler.  if you have a standard male bike then it will fit horizontal.  (if you have a female bike then I would guess you need the bar attachment to attach to the handlebars and seat steam.) The finished product folds up efficiently..easy to store.

Awesome Bike Rack! Solid! Did my homework. After a week of research and reading reviews (this included Craigslist and Marketplace), I chose this rack and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.  Super easy to install!  My rack arrived in flawless condition. Don't let the price or one-star review detour you from purchasing.  You WILL need a bike frame adapter for women style bikes as did I for my wife and daughter's bikes, Wal-Mart had the best deal at $17.96 ea. and they work great!  And no need to worry, if needed, replacement “Frame Mount Cradles” are available at etrailer.com.  They are marketed under a different brand name, but identical.  The 3 bikes pictured total 87 lbs (and a 4th at 18 lbs all totaling 105lbs) If you're looking for an excellent product at an economical price, this rack is for you.

Awesome product

Very nice quality and easy to load.  We have had no problem loading women's and boys' bikes  With 3-4 bikes and traveling over rough terrain, it gets a little loose while driving. I just make sure to tighten it every now and then (easy turn of a knob).

The container, Box, was ripped in a number of places,  I am missing a rubber plug.  also nut and bolt was missing from box.  all nuts and bolts were attached to metal but i was missing one nut 1 bolt and 1 rubber plug

We've only had this attached to our camper for 10 months and while going down the highway it snapped and broke. Luckily my in laws were behind us to call for us to pull over before they flew off. I would not recommend this bike rack due to possibility of poor quality.
