This is the best mascara I've ever used, by far.  I've tried many other mascaras, including some very popular expensive ones, and none of them could compare to the Maybelline Big Shot.  It doesn't clump when you apply it and it only takes me maybe two coats to really get thick, full, longer lashes. You could probably get away with just one coat really and look great but I tend to apply several coats since I want them to look very full.  It's a thick consistency and the applicator is perfect for applying to the top and bottom lashes with the least amount of contact to your skin. Some mascaras have weird skinny applicators and they just don't work for me, they seem to not apply enough product in one go.  This one really holds a lot of mascara and so I feel like it puts more product onto your lashes at once. It has held up really well all day without smudging, even though it's washable. It doesn't crack and break off little particles either, which is important since I wear contacts and have sensitive eyes.  I've always loved the Volume Express line and this one is the best I've tried so far!  And at a fraction of the cost of some of the others!

Thank you thank you.Finnaly a mascara that does what it said .I'm  turning 70 in November  .As a teenager i used big lash in white and gold tube ,then as young adult i switch to green and pink.I still have good lashes at my age but plastic wands suck most formulas are to thick and clumpy from exspencive to drug store..This new snapscara is awesome seperate lengthens and not thick.I don't  have to add eye drops to loosen .I LOVE IT pleeeeese don't  change the brush or formula.In some reviews it states it flakes yes when its dry .but i just brush it off and put new on it's great. Next day Again very happy cutomer Finnaly you gotta a winner for the older lady

New snapscara

I received this from influenster the other day, I tried it and I absolutely love it! My lash hairs are naturally fine, so I need as much help as I can get from a mascara. This stuff really does make them look THICK, without looking clumpy like I have tarantulas on my eyes, and it doesn't make my lashes hard. It also builds well, (just don't allow it to dry in between coats) which is important to me because I like a couple of layers. These picture really does it very little justice, because it looks even better in real life. I was sent this mascara complimentary for testing and reviewing purposes, but this is my own honest opinion.

Awesome stuff

I like it! Gave nice volume and darkened them, and great length! My only complaint is that the wand is a little stiff, so it doesnt apply to the lashes the greatest. Besides that, good product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these products free or complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. I tested the colossal big shot mascara once I recieved it. Pros: this mascara is affordable, a little bit goes a long way. My eyelashes are already long and it did extend then length. Cons: I didnt particularly care for the application brush. I found it to be messy when applying to my bottom lashes. Although this mascara did provide some extra length to give the effect of beautiful longer eyelashes I felt that it didnt help make my lashes appear fuller. If you apply too much trying to achieve a more fuller look it made my eye lashes stick together. I had to go back and clean up under my eyes becauae mascara did manage to get other places. Im not sure if that was because I already have long lashes or if it was just the product. I believe that this mascara is a great affordable alternative to some more expensive brands. It served its purpose, I mostly just didnt like the applicator because it bunched my eyelashes together. I went back and had to comb through them to get the look that I wanted. I think that this product has some great qualities but an adjuetment to the applicator would be helpful to not have to go back and clean up behind it.

Not fond of the applicator

I purchased this Mascara because of a coworker of mines was wearing it and it looked great on her. I tried it the for the first time one day and loved the look. However it was HARD like very hard to remove...I tried makeup wipes and Coconut oil. Then it didn't remove completely. I figured maybe I'd try it again this time I wiped so hard to remove it some of my natural lashes came off. The product is clumpy on the lashes as well. Probably will NOT BUY this brand again.

So far i have tried 3 maybelline mascaras hoping one one of them would work. Well I was wrong all 3 of them were a flop. Especially the "collosal big shot" should be called the "big joke" I opened my mascara i just bought and it was damaged the wand was all clumped and bent it looked like a shrimp wand .The product was clumpy the black rubber piece came off as soon as I took the wand out OH what a mess. I usually use benefit roller mascara for all of my photo shoots and everyday wear but they were sold out. I just needed something to grab really quick and apply before I got my makeup done for my photoshoot. Please do not get this mascara save your money. What a flop and rip off.
