McCain's frozen french fries are made with specially selected potatoes and are a trans-fat and cholesterol-free snack that is also low in saturated fat. Pop these straight cut fries straight into the oven and you’ll have the whole family looking forward to dinner time. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through. Can also be made in a toaster oven. See full details on packaging. QUICK & EASY RECIPE Cheddar Jalapeño Fries Ingredients: 650g McCain straight cut french fries 1 finely chopped Green mix Jalapeño 2 tsp of course salt 2 tsp of ground pepper 2 tsp of olive oil 4 tbsp of grated cheddar Directions: 1. Prepare McCain straight cut french fries​ as per packaging directions. Remove from oven 3 to 5 minutes before fully cooked. 2. In a medium bowl toss fries with olive oil, salt, ground pepper and finely chopped Jalapeño. 3. Place fries back on the tray and put in the oven for the remaining 3 to 5 minutes or until golden colour. ​ 4. Add grated cheddar cheese, serve and enjoy!
