Adds flavor to hamburgers without overpowering.

Simple to incorporate into daily routine.

We've used this seasoning twice now and it's been scrumptious and popular among 3 generations in the family. My mom and I are picky about how salty our food tastes and we've been very happy with this seasoning. My daughter, who is going through a picky phase, has inhaled her cheeseburger both dinners. In addition we have used the seasoning both mixed into the ground beef and sprinkled on both sides of the burger patties and have been satisfied with both methods of preparation.

Super easy seasoning for quick, delicious weekday dinner

McCormick.com

I really enjoyed McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning. I used it to make hamburger grilled cheese sandwiches, and the flavor was amazing. It added the perfect blend of savory spices without being too salty or overpowering. I love how convenient it is, just season and cook. Compared to other burger seasonings I've tried, this one gave the beef a great flavor and made the sandwiches taste delicious. I would definitely buy it and recommend it to friends and family.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Perfect for Burger Night

This hamburger seasoning has become one of my favorite blends for grilling and homemade burgers. It adds a rich and smoky flavor with the perfect mix of garlic, onion, and spices that make burgers taste restaurant-quality. I like that the seasoning is strong enough to enhance the meat without overpowering it. It works great not only for hamburgers, but also for steaks, chicken, roasted potatoes, and vegetables. The texture is nice and easy to sprinkle evenly while cooking. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts quite a while. I would definitely recommend this seasoning to anyone who enjoys flavorful and juicy grilled food.

Great!

Don't let the "hamburger" label fool you — this seasoning has become my go-to all-purpose blend! The flavor is so well balanced with just the right mix of salty, slightly sweet, and a mild kick of heat. I originally bought it for burgers, but I've also used it on shrimp and chicken and it tastes amazing every time. It adds great flavor without being overpowering. This is definitely a seasoning I'll keep stocked in my kitchen and will absolutely repurchase!

Subtle Spice and Sweetness

I got the chance to try out the McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning in exchange for my honest review and was excited to play around with a new seasoning for our family's monthly grill night! We did a test round of meat with the seasoning added and were surprised what an enhancement of flavor it made! So much so that we went out and bought an extra bottle to make sure there was enough - and it definitely was! The seasoning offers a truly well rounded, classic burger taste that checks all the boxes. It will absolutely stay a core staple for our seasoning mix!

Great Addition to Burger Night!

I received this seasoning in return for my honest review and immediately tested it out while making burgers for dinner for my family. The seasoning has a great taste of onion and garlic with a slight smoky aspect to it. It gave our burgers the "umph" it needed while not being overpowering in flavor. I would purchase this myself and recommend to others!

Tasty burger seasoning!

McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning is a game-changer for homemade burgers! It adds the perfect blend of savory spices, garlic, and onion flavors that make every bite juicy and delicious. The seasoning enhances the natural taste of the beef without overpowering it, creating a restaurant-quality burger right at home. Quick, easy to use, and packed with flavor, it's a must-have for any burger lover. Highly recommended!

Definitely a Must have for Grilling

I recently tried McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning for the first time, and overall I came away impressed. I wasn't quite sure what to expect going in, but after using it on several different types of burgers and even a brisket, I can definitely see why it's a popular seasoning blend. It adds a nice savory flavor to meat without completely covering up the natural taste, which is something I always appreciate in a burger seasoning. The first thing I noticed was how balanced the flavor is. The blend contains a good mix of salt, pepper, onion, and spices that work well together. The pepper is especially noticeable, but not in a bad way. It provides a pleasant kick and some extra depth of flavor without becoming too overpowering. Some seasoning blends rely too heavily on black pepper and end up overwhelming everything else, but this one manages to stay relatively balanced. I tried it on beef burgers, turkey burgers, and chicken burgers. It worked surprisingly well on both turkey and chicken. Turkey burgers can sometimes be bland, but this seasoning helped give them a much richer, more savory flavor. The same was true for chicken burgers, which picked up a nice seasoning profile that made them much more enjoyable. That said, while it performed well on both, I still think it shines brightest on a classic beef burger. The flavors seem perfectly suited for beef, bringing out the meat's natural richness while adding just the right amount of seasoning. Out of everything I tried, a traditional beef burger seasoned with this blend was easily my favorite. One area where I think the seasoning could be improved is the garlic content. There is some garlic flavor present, but I would have liked a little more. A stronger garlic note would help round out the seasoning and make it even better. It's certainly not lacking flavor as it is, but an extra boost of garlic would take it up another level in my opinion. I also experimented with it beyond burgers by using it as a rub on a beef brisket. While it isn't marketed as a brisket rub, it actually worked quite well. It helped create a flavorful exterior and complemented the beef nicely. If you're in a pinch and don't have a dedicated brisket rub available, this seasoning can definitely get the job done. One thing I would not personally recommend is using it on pork. I gave it a try, and the flavor combination just didn't seem like the best match. The seasoning profile works exceptionally well with beef and does a respectable job with turkey and chicken, but it didn't seem to complement pork nearly as effectively. After trying it for the first time, my overall impression is very positive. It's easy to use, versatile, and delivers solid flavor without requiring any extra effort. While I think it could use a little more garlic and isn't my favorite choice for pork, it excels on beef burgers and performs well on turkey burgers, chicken burgers, and even brisket. Most importantly, nothing I tried with it tasted better than a classic beef burger. That's where this seasoning truly stands out. Overall, I give McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning 4 stars out of 5. It's tasty, worth trying, and worth buying if you're looking for a simple way to add flavor to your burgers. My first experience with it was a good one, and based on the results, I would absolutely buy it again.

A Reliable Seasoning Blend That Makes Better Burgers

It saves you from pulling five different spice bottles out of the pantry when you just want to throw some patties on the grill. It's pretty heavy on the salt, so don't go too crazy, and definitely don't add extra salt to the meat. But other than that classic flavor.

Classic flavor

We typically use salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to season our burgers, however this seasoning replaced our usual mixture as a great all in one replacement. The burgers tasted great on the blackstone and came out well seasoned with our homemade Big Mac sauce!

Great all in one seasoning!

Seasoning needs to me paired with a liquid marinade otherwise it will stick to the pan and not the meat
