Jason Blood, once a mortal man who lived centuries ago, was bound to Etrigan after the Demon was summoned by none other than the wizard Merlin. Jason was rendered immortal and granted the ability to swap places with his demonic counterpart upon saying the magic words. Though Jason has tried many times to exert his will over Etrigan while he is transformed, the Demon is too powerful to be completely contained. Still, more often than not, Etrigan, despite his nature, is interested in the greater good—even if his motives and methods remain suspect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DC Multiverse Demon Knight figure is a fantastic and underrated addition to the line. The medieval armor design is packed with detail, from the sculpted chainmail and plating to the weathered weapons and helmet. It really stands out from the more traditional superhero figures and adds variety to any DC shelf.

The paint work is solid, with good contrast that brings out all the sculpted textures. Articulation is very good for an armored character, allowing for strong battle poses without feeling stiff. The figure feels durable and well-balanced, making it great for both display and posing.

If you enjoy darker DC characters, fantasy-inspired designs, or just want something different from the usual capes and tights, Demon Knight is an excellent pickup. This is a great example of McFarlane delivering a high-quality figure that feels fresh and unique within the DC Multiverse line.

Highly recommended for collectors looking to expand beyond the standard roster.
