Well made.  Very substantial and heavy.  You'll need 3-4 people to move.  The accessories (granite & shelves) are bungied to the bottom.

WOW!! This island is beautiful. I struggled about it. Didn't know if it would be too small or ugly plywood. It is just perfect. Not ugly plywood. Solid piece and I can tell you it is heavy. You will need a few people to move this. I was told it was going to come in 2 boxes and I would have some assembly to do (hence thinking plywood). Got there to pick up and guess what....... ALL 1 BOX and already put together except the interchanging shelves. Yay. This is sweet!!!!
