[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a girl and a boy mom, I find it critical to not to adhere to specific gender roles or toys.  This toy is a perfect balance.  My daughter loved the toy and now associates building and work apparel with women too.  It makes me proud that she sees construction sites and looks for the women.  As for the toy, it's like two in one with the doll and the blocks.  This was a winner in our house.  Of course my son loves it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and son have been playing for about an hour with this Barbie builder and the 50 blocks it brings. I can honestly say, they have never played for this long together so well. The fact that they can build makes them work together to put together the structure. I love the Barbie's outfit too. She has great work boots, a really cool tool belt, and a pink construction hat. I've never come across a Barbie and blocks sold together. Great idea! Definitely see my kids getting a lot of fun out of this toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set - not only do you get the Barbie (which is fun in her construction outfit of jeans, a white T and vest - with hard hat and tool belt!), but also a set of bricks to build with.  My child enjoyed playing with the Barbie and the bricks together for a bit but ultimately ended up just playing with the bricks. They have ideas for how to build a house or tree house, but it is just as fun to use your imagination and see what you can build on your own!

My daughter and I had a great time building the beach house together. I love that it's a two part toy so it's not just limited to legos or barbie and can be played with multiple different ways!

I like that this Barbie wears construction worker clothes-  It shows that not only men are able to construct things but women also can ! When I first gave my kids this toy they were excited to build different things with the colorful  blocks. This toy doesn't only have the option to create a house, but also lets kids create other things too while working on the construction -

My daughter loves Barbie and Lego, and now you can buy them as one! 

The Barbie comes with an adorable yellow safety vest,  workers belt, working boots and a hard hat! 

There's a booklet with a couple of house ideas for the blocks. I made the houses the first day we got it and I have to say it was a lot of fun! The blocks that comes with give just enough variety to really stimulate my daughters creativity. The things she comes up with are incredible. 

I would highly recommend this toy for any child. It does have some small parts, so you will want to wat h your child when they are playing with the blocks. 

Seeing your child build things and use their creativity is amazing. Its the best thing ever and Mattel has really knocked it out of the park with this Barbie Builder Doll and Playset.

Best Toy Mash-Up Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the day I received the package in the mail my 3 year old has loved this toy. She sets the Barbie up to build blocks with her. She plays with the Barbie and really likes the tool belt the Barbie came with. My daughter didn't use the instructions to make the house the blocks were intended to create but she likes building her own creations. I loved seeing Barbie in something not typically seen as a woman's job. Would definitely recommend.

Entertaining

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited about this toy from the minute she saw the box. This is a great 2 in 1 toy that includes two of our favorite things, Barbie and blocks! My daughter is recently turned 4 and was able to use this doll with only a little assistance reading the directions on how to build. She loves to bring Barbie to the build and use her to pond the blocks down with her boots. 

We have built both the beach house and the tree house several times and each time has been fun. If you are keeping the items built, please note that the tree house does not require all of the pieces included in the set. I am mentioning this because we have a smaller child as well so we needed to make sure the small parts were stored away! 

This Barbie has been played with daily in our house since we opened her up. She even helped with some projects around the house! We look forward to playing with her more and finding more projects that she can help with!

So Much Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and i had a lot if fun with this Barbie...as well as a little bit of frustration.  The Barbie comes with a construction outfit that fits very snuggly, one child came over to play with us and she removed her clothing, it kind of a struggle to get them back on. Also,the hat doesn't actually stay on Her head without a band and Her legs don't bend either, which wasn't a problem,just wanted to point that out.  The lego set is very small but fairly easy to assemble, it even comes with directions that can be used by anyone, even a non reader.  Overall she's totally cute and a nice addtion to a doll collection.
