[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family received the Mega Construx Blastoise free to review. We would have bought it ourselves for our boys. My eight year old put it together quickly and was soon shooting his other Pokemon from the Mega Construx collection. My six year old had a little trouble putting the pieces together, so this is definitely for older kids. A lot of fun for any Pokemon obsessed kid.

They needed help to assemble him correctly, but honestly they've had more fun putting him together in silly ways! He's been a great addition to our toy collection and I recommend him for all Pokemon fans!

A ton of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set has been the only set to last in our home of 4 children. All other block sets get torn apart almost the same day but this one has been together for over a month with very few parts taken off. Our 10, 9, and 5 years old were all able to put this together on their own, and they are all sharing it with their youngest sibling who is 2.

Wonderful Pokemon Set

He found it very helpful. My son had no problem putting this toy together. We actually sat together to assemble it. It made for a nice mother/son time.

Fun building experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for my 8 year old. At first with all the oueces I thought it would be difficult for him. I was wrong. He loved building his pokemon. He kept him entertained for couple hours. No screen time. Fully built I thought he was cute. Only down side is the small pieces. If the landscape that are easily misplaced.

Kept my son busy

My 8 year old son got it built the day he received it.  Came out very cute and the water spikes are a great addition so this was a hit.

Fun and Cute

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item was fun to put together, it took a 25 year old adult man a little over an hour to put together. The bags were unorganized, and it seemed like they just threw random groups of blocks into bags. The instructions weren't clear, but that also added a fun challenge for us.

Fun product, too much packaging

It probably would have been fine for an older child or one with more of a constructive personality.  The toy itself was of great quality. This has many tiny parts which was expected. Be prepared to follow picture directions.

Great Quality but very challenging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for our son, who is 8, and had him put it together (with a little assistance from us). It took him 4+ hours to get together. The pieces are not organized by color or shape, and the bags aren't numbered according to the order of steps in the process. The finished result is super cute and my son loves it, but just be sure to devote some time to fishing through pieces to help your kid!

Cute, but time consuming to build!

Our almost 7 year old grandson was excited to start this project. He's adept at Lego and follows instructions carefully. While he worked diligently and constructed this character within a couple of hours, he commented that the instructions could be improved and that some of the parts didn't fit well.
