Build

This is a great set. With just over 2,000 pieces you have the ability to not only build an iconic pelican from the Halo universe, but you can also do the alternate build plus something completely different using your imagination. I would highly recommend this set.

Halo Pelican Inbound

The UNSC Base alternate build is great!!! The Mega Unboxed website has a Deluxe UNSC Base design that has a larger door using up the extra spare parts left over .  Waited a long time for this set,  missed it the first time Walmart offered. Great value for the price.

I had gotten this set for my birthday, and so glad I did! but my only things to say are, I wish it was bigger, and could hold more marines/Spartans, like the actual game, and It could hold the vehicles like the warthog and the razorback.

Cool build for display or models

This set is awesome.  I have been looking forward to something like this for years.

The box looks like it was run through a hay bailer.  The oieces are not damaged, there are a few extras, and everything appears to be there.  More extra pieces are needed.  Some pieces do not fit well regardless of how they are placed.  I am a pretty experienced builder and recommend parents and adults do the majority of building this set.

The set is a little rickety and tbe transparent blocks need to be kept in place because the legs of the model are too weak to hold it up.

This is the second Halo Mega Construx set I have received from Wal-Mart that had a heavily damaged box.  Unfortunately, they have yet to contact me about the experience nor have they tried to make it right.

If a piece falls off you may find yourself going to extreme lengths getting it back on.

Regardless, Mega Construx has excellent customer service and replaces anything broken or missong as long as you follow their instructions.

This is a once in a lifetime set and my son and I enjoy playing with it.

Awesome Set.  Box Heavily Damaged.

This was purchased for my two younger sons, who are under the age of 8, with the intention of assembling the majority of the ship myself. Well, assembly went smoothly, over the course of two days. The boys lost interest after the first couple hours or so. I was committed to assembly and completed it. Had a couple minor hiccups that were my fault but I corrected them.

I wouldn't reccomend this for any child under the age of 10. I'm not a fan of the visual instructions; sometimes they're a bit convuluted but I made the best of it.

Assembled, the Pelican is huge. I didn't realize how large it is. It is an awesome showpiece to go along with the remainder of our acquired Halo Infinite Mega construx pieces.

I only gave four stars due to the ratcheting mechanism on one of the rear engines. It doesn't work. It's attached completely yet the mechanism doesn't engage. The engine is completely poseable and doesn't affect it cosmetically but it is disheartening to get the the final phase just to find out that it doesn't work.
