Easy to put together

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I built this with my son who is eight years old. Directions were clear and I liked the color coding to show where to snap on the pieces. I did have trouble snapping together some of the pieces if they weren't perfectly aligned. When I found the tool in the kit though this helped considerably. My son loved the conversion from regular size truck to monster truck. He immediately went outside to find a ramp. If your kids likes building Lego type toys, this would be a good option.

Cool design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son tried taking the box from me in excitement but I was able to get it and build it.  Super easy to follow the instructions and build it not only as the monster truck but also as a car!  Two in one is a great idea, although it would be cool to build both and play with both at the same time.  They each went together well and held up during playing.  Only a wing came off at one point after we pushed it too hard loosening it.  Tons of fun and we can't wait to try building the other monster truck kits.  We both built it with ease as well as took it apart with ease.  Highly recommend for lots of fun.

The construction set has many parts, some of which are small and difficult for small hands to assemble: but this makes for a great project for child and parent/adult to work together.  A quality kit, and the resulting monster truck is colorful, unique, and fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of Mega Construx blocks are awful. In this model, which my son received as a Christmas gift, the moulding on one end of one of the monster truck's axels (Piece AM80979BLG) has a smooth end. This means that we cant clip the wheel to the axel, rendering the toy useless. This is not the first model we've had, I won't buy them again.
