[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 7 year old son who loves all things action figures, vehicles and building.  This set fits the bill for him in many ways.  He still needed assistance putting the set together, but once it was built he loves that it can be played with and actually move.  The fact that figures come with it is a bonus.  It is perfect for his age.

So he was very excited to receive this toy and get right to building it. Not only was it fun to build, he loves playing with it every day. Highly recommend!

Loved it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years my young child has loved building blocks (i.e Legos) and vehicles (i.e Hot Wheels).  Combining these two great things together is the best of both worlds!  There is a lot to like about this Mega Construx set! First of all, it has just the right amount of pieces (138) to make it challenging but not discouragingly difficult on their own. Like most other building blocks sets the instructions were pretty clear and my son was able to follow along without much difficulty. Just building the cars was fun and enjoyable on it's own, but as you know there is a lot more to do! Once finished building we have two great Hot Wheel cars to play with! My son loved racing each car against one another. He has taken part and rebuilt each car at least three times since we got it. Easily one of the best toys in years.  I would highly recommend it for children that love vehicles and building blocks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun toy for my 7-year-old son. It's small enough he can carry it in the car and is also easy for him to grip and hold. It's also lightweight, yet seems to be well made. It has a fun design, too! So far it has been holding up well; even while playing outside with it.

Fun little toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I misread the description when I ordered this because I expected a track building set. Instead it's a single car that you build of little blocks not unlike another brand name snap together product.
In my mind this makes the age range a little low my 2 weeks short of 7 year old didn't have the patience to finish the project. It's a lot of blocks. If you like that sort of building this is perfect for you.

Not quite what I expected

The concept brings the hot wheels cars you had as a child to even bigger.  The pieces are easy to handle with easy directions.  The car moves easily and easy to put back together if crashed.
