Once I treated/seasoned them they are great. I will have to treat/season them periodically until they are conditioned, but they are a great cast iron product for the price and what you get to enhance your cooking needs and outcome.

pretty much a steal for this set love it. just make sure you take care of it and it shoukd work just fine! a lot of the complaints i saw seem more like user error. i made some good soup in the pot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have Lodge pans myself but had purchased these as a Christmas gift for my daughter because, as a 5-pc set, you really couldn't beat the price %26 the reviews seemed good. Unfortunately, I did not care for the texture at all. They were very rough to the touch and I was concerned about that roughness scraping off over time %26 and ending up in the food-or the food sticking. I ended up returning them.
