The Megachef 8-Quart Digital Pressure Cooker is a fantastic addition to my kitchen. The large 8-quart capacity makes it perfect for family meals, and the digital controls are simple and intuitive. It cooks everything from rice to stews quickly and evenly, saving both time and energy. Cleanup is easy with the removable inner pot, and the compact 15" x 15" size fits well on the counter. Great value for the performance — highly recommended!

This is a 5.56lb Pot Roast. Our first use of this 6qt Mega Chef. The “sautee setting” worked extremely well for our meat and veggies. We deglazed our pan with wine like one would with any other. 
We put the meat, the veg, and added 1 1/2 Cups broth. We used the “manual setting” . You press “manual setting” indicating you want to set your cooking own time, press “Adjust   or -  to change minutes. Minutes are represented as the number on the screen next to the”P”. 
It was amazing! In an hour and a half, from start to finish, we had a pot roast that would normally take 4-8 hours.  The lid takes a little getting used to. There are arrows that line up but it is solid once it is in place.
My partner pressure cooked a whole chicken slow cooker style again.  The meat fell off the bone. We served it we sides.
I'm not a gadget person but this has earned a useful spot in my kitchen. 
I cook chicken for dogs in in too 
I'll be making soup because I make bread at home. 
This is a good product.

A New Staple in our Kitchen

Loved the Megachef 8qt pressure cooker. Purchased for my son's college dorm and really want one for my house as well!  Easy to use, love the saute feature, and so simple to clean. Love that it keeps the food warm for hours vs. my traditional pressure cooker. It also cooks so much faster - in 12 minutes, rice is done!  Highly recommend.

So easy to use!

It's larger than I thought it would be. Super easy to use so far. First thing made was a pork loin. Very happy with my purchase. I have never heard of this brand, but glad I bought it instead of the pricey name brand.

Pressure Cooker

I haven't put it into use yet but I did the water test and it seems working well

level 4 star, as i just received the product, looks good, nice size, really looking forward on the stainless-steel pot, that i don't have to worry about scratch it, which is the main reason I'm get this replacement, the old one is started to get scratched while the replacement pot is $50, if I can find any. Also, the new stem relieve switch seems better than the older design.

I've used this pressure pot every day since I got it. I am very pleased with it. I bought this model because I wanted the larger 8 quart size and the price was good. It works great. However...the manual that comes with it is very lacking. It doesn't have much information about the pot, its cycles, cook times, cleaning, anything. I'd heard that the manual wasn't great, but I ordered it anyway because there's so much good information about electric pressure cookers online and I'm familiar with pressure cooking anyway, so I wasn't too worried. If I were a beginner, it would be a big disappointment. It would be really good if the manufacturer could be persuaded to revise and expand the manual for this model. I would happily give this product five stars if the manual were better. The dropped star is entirely because of the poor manual, not the product quality.

when I cooked pinto beans it takes 3 cycles to cook them right.  my other one only took 2 cycles.  I never tried it on 1 cycle because it takes too long for it to heat up again.  I cooked both without soaking them.

This product is a good one and works well but has stopped working and I am looking for a way to exchange or return it.
