I used Meguiar's Marine Oxidation Remover on an older boat that had gotten pretty dull and chalky from oxidation. I was honestly impressed with how much of the original shine and color it brought back. It takes a little elbow grease, especially on the heavier oxidation, but you can definitely see the difference as you work.

It spreads easily, doesn't have an awful overpowering smell, and buffs off without leaving a bunch of residue behind. The fiberglass looked noticeably cleaner, smoother, and much less faded afterward. For the price, I think it's a good value, especially compared with paying someone to professionally restore the finish.

I would definitely recommend following it with a good marine polish and wax to protect all that work. Overall, the quality is what I expect from Meguiar's, and I'd buy it again for maintaining an older boat.

Brought the shine back!

We hace a 4 year old travel trailer with tan gel coat fiberglass finish that sat in the Texas sun and paid $$ for a highly recommended detailer who specializes in RVs. Took him 8 hours and barely looked "better".

While researching better options, I came across Meguiars Oxidation remover. An hour with it and a rotary polisher and the section we did looked like new! Stock up on this and some good polishing pads and your money will be well spent!

In the picture, we polished the left front. You can see the chalky oxidation of the untouched sections. You can also see the reflection of trees in the polished section....no wax yet applied! Two thumbs up!

Perfect for removing oxidation off RV gel coat

This product does exactly what it claims it will do. It will clean the oxidation off of fiberglass but this is not a piece of cake job when you start this job you have to have the muscle to put behind it; it requires dedication and follow through; it's a 3 step process from the remover to polish to wax. It takes all three to do the job.

Meguiar's heavy Duty Ocudstion Remover

Works exactly as it states had to buy multiple bottles to finish the entire boat, but that was my only issue

Perfect. Works exactly how you need it to

Amazing product! Only took one time using this and many years of oxidation came right off my boat. It looks almost good enough to not have to wax it, but will with Meguiars boat wax, which is just as good.

Renewed finish as good as the day I got it

I bought this to take oxidation off my camper tried a lot of different stuff and it's the best I found Thales it off and shines good a lot of work but it works great.

Good stuff.

I trust Meguiar's products and this is no exception. This is for use on a jon boat and a pontoon. It's a good product at a good price.

I have been using another product and it doesn't buff out very well. It looks like a lot of swirls when the light hits it at the right angle. This product Meguiars #49 buffs out swirl free with a nice bright shine. I am really pleased with this product.

Great product!!

Purchased this to remove oxidation on my boat. I can tell you that it worked very well, but unless you have a buffer be prepared to use plenty of elbow grease. I applied with a round microfiber application pad and buffed clean with microfiber cloth. It is amazing the before and after. I detailer wanted $20 a foot. I got some exercise and a great looking boat.

Works Well

Package had leaked most of product out into shipping box

Not impressed
