The wood parts are great and not easily broken. They also don't soak when being chewed on. Melissa and Doug is my definite favorite brand of educational products. I can't wait to buy more products!

I always prefer wooden toys because it's good for kids and environment . It come with lots of food figures and cooking pot, burner. My little one play all day long with it. my four 4 and 6 year old did not like it at all! they were done "playing" with it within 10 mins. i could see why though. theres nothing very entertaining about this. everything is wood. and there's no sounds at all. a waste of money!!
