the product could definitely do more for its cost (i.e. have a baterry operated moving microwave plate), but its still a really great, sturdy toy. definitely designed to stand the test of time.

whoever wrote these instructions deserves a medal!  And if you could also write instructions for any other manufacturer that'll let you, that'd be great. I don't remember the last time i cussed zero times while putting together something with this many pieces.  Well done folks!

Daughter very happy with “pink kitchen”

We bought this for our daughter's 3rd birthday. She said it was her favorite part of the day! Other family members got her the accessories to go with it. It was easy to understand the assembly directions and took my husband and I about 2 hours after the kids went to bed.

She "cooks" breakfast every morning!

Got this for my 3 year old daughter. She loves it! Shipped pretty quick. I was worried about the assembly. But I am a single mom and put it together all on my own in 2.5 hours. Seems super sturdy. She loves the ice cubes and already has her own art hung up on it!

I would buy again!

My granddaughter is over the moon about her kitchen! Not even 2 years old and she plays with it constantly. Excellent quality and relatively easy to assemble. This will be a part of our family for years to come,

I ordered it for my Girls this Thanksgiving, they are completely in love with it. It's much better and bigger than there old plastic small kitchen.
 It's big, spacious, easy to assemble, Assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The quality is everything I had hoped it would be,  Love the rotating microwave plate and ice dispenser. It has lots of space inside the cabinets to put small toy utensils, plates and dishes.
 Good quality, great size, I'll recommend it to everyone looking to buy kitchen set for their kids.
  Packaging was excellent. Considering how heavy these kitchens are. The kitchen is of quality materials, and once you add pots and pans, it's so real  for kids to imagine they are really cooking, they are too busy in this kitchen to disturb us in real kitchen. Hope it stays this way.

I would buy this again

I LOVE Melissa and Doug toys! However, when I purchased the playset kitchen for my granddaughters, I was somewhat disappointed by the quality. I assembled it and the directions were moderately simple enough to follow. There were some minor chips in the edges and we chipped out a small piece when assembling it. I expected it to be the best quality since I paid considerably more money for this toy. I was looking for a toy that would be an heirloom piece and I don't feel like this one will last for years of play. I will still buy this brand but will be more careful about what pieces I select. I will see how it holds up over time but I won't hold my breath!

Not that great of quality

We ordered this for our daughter for Christmas and in less than a month it's damaged. She tripped and her elbow hit the oven door and it cracked. Didn't think hhh that the materials would be so fragile. She loves playing with it, but I hate that it already looks worn in. It's right where the door handle is and with further use the handle will fall off.

Good play kitchen

So disappointing! This is not a typical Melissa and Doug product. Many of the pieces are very cheap and not made well. Many of the pieces did not fit. Finally my husband and I gave up after many many hours. Unfortunately as excited as we were to have this for our granddaughter it is going back. Perhaps Melissa and Doug need some better quality control.
