Our 4 year old granddaughter put it on Christmas morning and would not take it off. She doctored on everyone including all her stuffiest!  Worth every penny!

Someone in another review said this requires odd sized batteries. It took regular AA BATTERIES. My 3 year old son LOVES this outfit. He keeps telling everyone how he is going to be a doctor for Halloween. He uses the "needle" to give us shots, listens to our hearts, and tries for our reflexes. Loves this.

Not what I expected

I liked the fact that it comes with realistic dcotor's tools. They should be removed from the lab coat and put in a satchel or pocket, though.  3 year olds still fall a lot, and they would be uncomfortable to fall on.
Well designed, otherwise.

Cutest little doctor play set I have found. Nothing cheap about it. This will definitely last through all kids.

Play Doctor play dress up set

I am obtaining my DNP and my granddaughter loves to play with my tools (stethoscope, otoscope, thermometer, etc.). We purchased this for Christmas and she loves being just like Mimi! The coat is easy for her to put on and take off with the Velcro buttons, the tools fit easily in the pockets, the embroidery was done nicely and worth the extra few bucks, and the ID badge makes her feel "official" (the badge protector & lanyard are not included). Some of the toys were good, some just hollow plastic like the otoscope don't expect for them to last long after frequent use and dropping. I did add the Fisher Price medical kit to have the BP cuff but the M&D stethoscope is definitely sturdier and more realistic with the heartbeat sounds. Obviously the hope is she'll follow in my footsteps but if not it still encourages imaginative play and fosters empathy and compassion.

I wish the stethoscope made a sound like a heart beating. Otherwise it's good quality and would be great paired with like another doctor toy.

The product and its price were fine with a couple of problems. First, my 3-year old niece got frustrated because the stethoscope does not stay in her ears, so she could conduct her "examinations" of her dolls. Whenever she moved and tried to use the stethoscope, it slid off. She had to pretend she could hear the "heartbeats" with the stethoscope around her neck and not her ears. This was disappointing. Also, the mask was not user friendly, so she just grabbed the one she usually uses. In the end, the product was fine, but two of the items could not be used fully.
