This was a gift for my granddaughter-yes granddaughter. She loved "dressing" the Melissa a Doug Bear in a similar puzzle, so I ordered this one for her. She LOVES it. She stopped opening her birthday presents to play with it and had to dress all the characters before she would put it aside to open her other presents. I just wish there were a plastic cover to the box to keep all the little pieces from getting lost.

I have purchased quite a few Melissa and Doug products, mainly for my grandson, but also for 2 niece's children. Everything has been exceptionally well made, is extremely educational, and is so much fun. The toys are engaging, keeping my grandson's attention for a long time. As a former educator, teaching in a primary school for my entire career, I am aware that these toys and activities are always age appropriate. I already have so many Melissa and Doug toys in mind for future birthdays and holidays!!

I got this for my almost 6 year old Grandson for Christmas. He LOVES it! He has thanked me several times for it. I know he will get a lot of enjoyment from it for a very long time. He has several things from The Melissa and Doug collection. Never a disappointment. Very satisfied with the toys, variety and prices.

This product is perfect for preschool age boys (and interested girls as well). My students love to dress him up and even mix the outfits up! This also leads to dramatic play ideas in the classroom.

My grandson loves it and plays with it all the time. I wish it came in a bag or something to store/carry it in so we wouldn't lose the pieces and could bring it along on trips.

I would buy it again

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old grandson. He loved dressing up "Joey" in his various work outfits. It helps him with clothes coordination as well as hand/eye exercises.

This is a fun activity for my autistic son. It encourages role playing, which can lend to use of language, especially when I interact with him and model how to role play. Love all the choices you his magnet set offers. Easy to use and durable.

These boxes need lockable lids or covers. There are so many little pieces that storing them in kids rooms for easy access is just a disaster waiting to happen. We ordered these for a long car ride and I ended up putting them in a bag. You have many toys in these compartment boxes that NEED LIDS.

I want to love this toy. My kid loves it. The little magnetic dress-up pieces are cute and engaging. But let's be real, this thing was clearly designed by someone who's never met an actual toddler.

No lid. No case. No magnetic storage board. Just a shallow open tray full of small pieces that instantly explode across the house the moment it's touched. Melissa & Doug: you do know toddlers exist, right?

These sets are marketed as neat and Montessori-friendly, but in reality they're a one-way ticket to chaos. If you don't want puzzle pieces mixed up, stepped on, or mysteriously eaten by your vacuum, you basically have to create your own aftermarket storage system. Ziplocs. Velcro. Tiny bins. Duct tape. It's ridiculous.

A simple magnetic base or a snap-on lid would've made this a win. Instead, it's another well-intentioned toy collecting dust or scattered under the couch.

Parents: if you value your sanity, ask your relatives not to gift you more puzzles. Melissa & Doug, call me when your designers get trapped in a room with a real toddler for 3 hours. 😤
