I got this for our 2 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves it. Not only is it a sturdy wood set but it also has a really nice menu that comes with it. I can point to the cone I want, the ice cream flavors and topping. She can't read yet but she can match the picture and is learning the names. When she is done and we pick up the pieces for her to go home, I can show her the picture of what is missing and where it goes. She finds it and is so proud. It is also set up like an ice cream counter with a clear viewing window for the “customer”.

My kids started playing with this a year ago at an indoor kids play cafe and when it closed down, we knew we had to get one. This is one of the toys they just KEEP coming back to. It's fun, it's sturdy, easy to clean, and just a good gift for toddlers and young children. It has its own storage that was made to last. Ease of use makes the toy accessible to a wide range of ages. I even have fun interacting with it and the kiddos.

Excellent Gift and Toy.

They've had so much fun making ice cream cones and running their little shop! Durability is great, its construction is solid. My boys and girls love it, they play together for hours, the scooper is so easy to use, the scoops stay on, they just love it!

This set is absolutely adorable, and worth every penny. My grandsons are six and two, and both of them equally enjoy playing with it. The older one likes to pretend he's working in an ice cream shop and likes to take our orders and create our desserts. The little one just enjoys stacking up the scoops and playing with the pieces.

If you have kids in your life, you need this!

This is my absolute favorite Melissa and Doug product!! This is definitely something everyone enjoys playing with adults included. I have bought this for almost every kid. I just can't say enough amazing things about the Melissa and Doug Ice cream counter.

This has already gotten more use than I could have hoped. Both toddlers and young children love to play with it. Perfect for imaginary play. The icecream scoop actually picks up the ice cream scoops, so that's been fun for the kids and adults. The only small piece is a wooden spoon (easy to put away and not needed), so even very young children can play safely. We love Melissa and Doug toys because of the safer materials they use and this will be a toy that can be used for years.

Great toy that can be used for multiple ages

My three year-old and four year-old grandsons have not stopped playing with this gift since it was received! It's fun and interactive! Great size for small hands. Additionally purchased the ice pop and water ice set to allow for a full service operation!

Great gift for kids!

The quality is very high.  The kids have one at their preschool so I knew it would be something that stood up to a lot of use. After 5 month the product still looks brand new. Everything has a slot so nothing gets lost. It is one of their favorite toys and I always have to order an ice cream when I visit.

Favorite Christmas gift for preschooler

This is a great value for money gift. It spans a good age range and has been a favorite of my grandchildren, so I'm giving it to others! It is sturdy, durable, and manageable .

After 3 days of playing with the Ice Cream Counter the Scooper is broken so that the ice cream scoops can´t be grapped anymore with it.
The kids loved playing with the Counter and serving ice cream to us and our guest...
But there seems to be no replacemant part available and it also looks like other parents have the same issue with the poorly made Scooper.
