We bought this for our 18-month-old grandson, and he loves it. He's figuring out how to match the shapes to put them into the truck, and once he gets them in, he loves taking them out. We also sit on the floor with him, and we'll "drive" the truck back and forth between us. It's a great toy -- spurs thinking, encourages imaginative play, and it's something Grandad and Gramma can be a part of with him. Thanks, Melissa and Doug, for making really real toys. This is not our first M&D purchase, and it certainly won't be our last.

OMGoodness! This became an instant delight. How many times can one 2-year-old cruise from the living room to the kitchen and "gump" the truck? Yet to be determined. The quality of this toy is outstanding. It's sturdy and substantial enough to hold the total weight of a rambunctious toddler and dump 1,000 times over.

Well worth the money

Love this dump truck....just perfect.....sturdy, quality of product is excellent....and our little great grandson adores this new Melissa and Doug delivery. He is very happy opening and closing the door, dumping out the shapes and throwing them back in. He thinks the two drivers are wonderful and enjoys taking them out , examining them and then replacing them in their respective seats. The time will come after he familiarizes himself with this new " learning toy" and he will have imaginative play indoors and out doors this fall and winter. I do appreciate all your wooden products.....and am very pleased with this purchase.....After he dumped all the contents on the floor, he took the truck along with his blanket into his bed for nap time. Such a happy little fellow.

I plan to purchase another one for his new baby brother .

I bought this for my step grandson that just turned 3 this past weekend. HE LOVED IT, and could hardly wait for his mama to get it out of the packaging. His favorite stuff is Paw Patrol, and he got a lot of that stuff for his birthday, but, he carried this truck around for a couple of hours playing with it. I know he really loved it.

Great toy, great value, great fun

Bought this for our toddler for Christmas, and he loves it!  Fun learning toy because of the shape sorting, but still a big truck he can play with his other trucks.  Good quality wooden toy, like you would expect from a Melissa and Doug.  No complaints.

Bought this toy for my two year old nephew and he loved playing with it all Thanksgiving day! Bright colors, shapes and fun for this age group. Love how your toys are so well made and allow for the kids to use their imagination while at play!

Would buy this product again

I bought this for my almost 2 year old great nephew for Christmas. He loves trucks & since both of his parents are educators, they will be glad for the educational applications

I would definitely buy again

This was supposed to be a birthday present but my little guy saw it and it was over. He loves this truck so much. He loves putting the shapes in and out of the back and rolling it around. If you have a truck lover buy this!

New favorite toy!

He loved it. Only problem was that he wanted to stand on it. It held his weight fine but turned over and he fell. He had been warned and did it in the 5 seconds he was un attended. But otherwise was great.

Been buying M%26D for 3 years

It's okay. Cheaply made, not really very nice. Would return it, but Melissa & Doug don't have free returns, and the price of returning it was equal to the product.
