My granddaughter always searched through the toy dish bin at Grandma's House to find the metal forks and spoons left from a long ago dish set. She played with the plastic ones, but seemed to prefer the metal. We bought her this set for her second birthday. They make a satisfying "ding" when she plays with her metal tea set and metal pots and pans. Two year olds like noise, as well as pretend cooking! This set may be around for the next generation, as it seems sturdy, unless too many pieces go to the world of lost toys!

We found these at a local store and decided to try them as the regular "toddler" flat ware would melt in our dishwasher. My daughter (who turns 4 soon) loves them. She likes that they look like Mommy and Daddy's forks. She uses them every meal. We ordered a second (and third) set from the website because we wanted additional pieces and the website was cheaper than our local store. The third set we are keeping put up until we need it!

I think Melissa & Dough shines brightest with their stainless steel toys/implements. These are great for imaginative play and practical use. I LOVE that they come with the organizer tray, and bonus suggestions for how to use them in games and activities with your kiddo.

Great set

A mom of 4 I was looking for toddler size forks that were not plastic and over priced.  This may be a play set but it works perfect for actual mealtime.  My kids no longer want to use the over sized big forks because they have their own that look like mom and dads. I am probably going to buy another set so we have 8 forks instead of just 4.

Perfect for my toddler to use to feed himself the fork prong is dull & awkwardly shaped so it's harder for him to use it but other than that these are great.
