In the middle of Christmas shopping for my grandchildren, I saw this bag of bugs. I bought this item for .......myself. True, I like to put these type of funny little items in my flower and vegetable gardens in the summer. It makes the kids laugh and the adults cringe.

I bought the bugs along with the bug house and sent it to my grandchildren out of state. It arrived a day earlier than expected and its one of their favorite things to play with....Trying to help keep the kiddos entertained during this time and it worked...

The kids LOVE it!!

I purchased the Shimmy Snake Magnifier along with these bugs. I went around the yard and placed the bugs in various pots and baskets and then gave the magnifiying glass to our little guy and went with around the yard looking for the bugs. He has a blast.

Fun and colorful

My great-grandson will turn three in mid June.  He has decided he wants a bug theme and cake.  Not everyone present would like a bug on their cake.  These are perfect as they look like real bugs you can identify without being too "realistic" or gross.
I am sure they were made for kids to play with and I am sure he will after the party.

Three Year Old's Birthday

My daughter LOVES these! She is 20 months old and loves to hold them and make the grasshopper hop around. Seems like an odd gift, but she is fascinated by bugs, and has a small frog she adores so I hoped she would love this just as much! Great for imaginative play.

Small, and so worthwhile!

Bought 2 bags: one for grandson, age 20 months and 2nd for grandnephew who just turned 3 years old. They are cute, well-made and create so many teaching moments. Use this to teach colors, parts of body (head, legs, tummy, eyes, mouth, etc. to the youngest) and to engage him in quiet play while waiting for our food at restaurants. He loves them and calls them "little bugs." The older boy loves to place them around the house and 'tries to scare his older sisters, ages 4 and 7 years, who play along.

These bugs were a definite hit with my grandson! He had fun learning their names and body parts. He played with them for a time and kept returning to them for more play. A great purchase for sure. The bugs are sturdy and fit nicely in a toddlers grip. Colorful and all have details to help initiate discussions about bugs.

Best Bugs Ever!

Bought these for my 3 yr old grandson, gave them to him on Tuesday and he hasn't let them out if his sight since then! We've taken them on adventures through out the days. He sleeps with all of them every night! Love the colors, size, and the fact that there are ten! Get counting, matching, sorting activities

Bug-tastic!

My girls like to play with these bugs in the bathtub, outside at the water table, and inside during pretend play. I gave this produce 4 stars because I think the color choices for the bugs could be better.

Pretend Bugs

My son was 18 months old at Christmas when I bought this for him. He absolutely LOVES bugs and I was having a hard time finding some bug figures for him that were big enough that he couldn't choke on them. 

These bugs come in bright colors. As soon as he received them he started setting them up next to the rest of his sesame st and animal figures. He loves them.
